Hanners mentioned that he spoke to Jake Lloyd recently and expects him to stay at the Swans.

An interesting side note is that Jake averaged the 2nd most contested possessions per game of our defenders, including Mills, Smith, McVeigh and Rampe. So he wins more of his own ball than any of them. Aliir was 1st.

Doesn't sound like we're into McGovern: NAB AFL Trade Radio on Twitter: "Colin Young on McGovern interest: "We spoke to the 2 WA clubs and 2 clubs in Melbourne. Carlton, obviously, but the second club I won't discuss."".

Probably for the best as he’s wanting $750-800k I believe

McGovern does nothing for us, we need Gaff who addresses a need.

perhaps he should step down as Captain. I think McVeigh and KJ held onto the captaincy for 1 year too long

He's a bit of a mummy's boy... he dobbed me in to his mother about 8 years ago... I had the audacity to say that he'd had an ordinary game, and when I was in Melbourne a few weeks after, I saw him with his family. He pointed me out and said, mum, that's the girl that said I played bad.
                  Really?
                  Grow up.
You actually heard him say that? He said it loud enough for you to hear? I'm sorry but I find that a bit dubious......he didn't look like a 'mummy's boy' when he smashed into Hale in the 2012 GF to take that inspirational mark. You, as an adult, should know it's also a tad immature to hold a grudge and have ongoing animosity. ....and how does your 'assertion' and subsequent 'animosity' towards Hanners eliminate acknowledgment for all the amazing things he has done over the years to aid our clubs ongoing success when he was at his peak? Look, I think all adults have a little room to grow up but maybe he's not the only one who needs to......

The big omission from hannes was no mention of “Paddy McCartin” in the emerging player group at Saints !! ......... no acres

It kind of reminds me of in Seinfeld when Kramer and Newman swear that Keith Hernandez spat on them after a baseball game so they held a grudge against him but it ended up being a different player that spat at them, one that they'd been heckling all game.

I think I heard Hanners say Hectares. Acres not half as good.

Doesn’t cover the ground as well, you reckon?

From your lips Markwebbos! Sydney would be a perfect fit for him...solid team and no media pressure. I don't see him going back to the Eagles. If he does, "the incident" will constantly been raised. But when players leave, it's weird, but the past tends to fade away...
