I don't think he is. His kicking lacks penetration and his accuracy is at best ordinary. Let him rest and recover even if it takes 1/2 a season. He is better value to us fit and firing at the business end of the year when the good players are really required

No fines for the other participants in the melee as far as I can tell.
Agree with this, seems a bit harsh on a player who is engaging in some normal pre siren push and shove which only became a melee when the Bulldogs over reacted to it......ie; they started the melee.

I just saw Hanners on AFL Tonight and he is clearly suffering from I Would Rather Be Anywhere Than Doing This Interview Syndrome. His eyes were wandering all over the place. Someone needs to keep an eye on him. He's a real possibility to walk out the locker room and right off a pier into Rushcutters Bay.

Missed it, but a very stressful observation.
          Hope he?s OK.

No one is writing off JPK.

I haven't seen the interview in question but Hanners normally does that with his eyes when he is interviewed. I have noticed it a few times on the Sunday Footy show when he is not in the studio and is interviewed via camera.

Hanners does say "umm" quite a lot. I seem to remember Nick Smith says 'definitely' quite frequently also.

Hanners looks more 'with it' here (today): Hannebery: We need to help our backs - sydneyswans.com.au

There is an article on the Herald Sun site about the strange differences in the coaches votes for this game. I can't read the article because you have to pay.

I think that "Yeah definately" (or, more precisely, "Yeah definally") is straight out of Media Training for Australian Athletes 101. It appears to be a tactic for dealing with the propensity to respond "Yeah no" as a kind of qualified affirmative.

It actually looks like they lifted it straight from RWO. All it does it point out the anomaly there's no comment from either coach.

                          Oh.
So you changed your mind then?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
