Yes. I have confidence in our inability.

Might be time to drag out my favourite John Longmire thread....our inability to get through the press with the talent we have is sheer incompetence.

Apparently we won the clearance count 10-5 that second quarter....... Pity our 'skills' couldn't capitalise.

Our midfield has been horrid, but I also think the lack of a second marking target for relief down the line or to relieve pressure on Bud in f50 is a big structural problem we will continue to have. Good defences know how to set up in a way that seals us off.

I would try something different in this half - Rohan in to the centre with instructions to kick long if he gets it. Kennedy to hover at full forward and hopefully grab a few. Might be good for both of them and the team.

Our senior players are letting us down badly. Parker looks like he has the flu, Kennedy can't get out of his own way and Hanners looks a player of the past. He has lost heaps of pace, his disposal is weak and he doesn't seem to know where he is on the ground. Jack saved his bacon with that goal. We are way off our players. Rohan has been out of the game too long this year and has lost all his touch. Fumbled and didn't appear to want to be in the play. As for the Papley to the midfield move; he has no idea when has to go into defence and doesn't get a hand on it at centre clearances. Put him up forward where he is most dangerous.

Interesting comment on TV at half time that Gibbs is putting Kennedy out of the game. I thought Hewett was on Gibbs. If not what in the hell is he doing out there. He and Jones are hopeless with ball in hand.

Sinclair and Cunningham are 2 of our best players.

18 touches between Kennedy, Parker & Hanners. If they can return to something like normal in the second half we'll be back in it.

Not out of the centre we didn't; the place it counts. 5 to 10 at half time and I am still trying to think when we had 1.

I don't. Historically when we are playing this bad we don't come back.

From the AFL Live Match Feed......"Sydney addressed their first quarter clearance woes, winning the clearance count 10 to five in the second term."

                              Advantage! advantage!

In what world is playing on under pressure ever going to be advantageous?!

And as tough as Jones plays, how is it he finds it hard to both stick & break tackles?

And Hanners seems to be vying for Luke Ablett?s mantle as the most tackled player in the AFL. Just seems slow and/or under done at the moment

Geez our skills are woeful! But they have been for as long as I can remember! It's always been our endeavor, our organisation and discipline that has made us a great team but that seems to have disappeared too of late!
