Gee there is something really to like about both Fox and Ronke.
Sinkers is such a great, honest player. Never going to be a world beater, but when he has a good day like he did today, he can be the difference. Superb effort!
God we love getting good wins down at the cattery don't we!!!!

Gerard Whately without any hubris at all.... he is a grumpy old git at the best of times. Can't wait to rub his nose in it on Monday

Totally disagree. Papley is brilliant and did heaps of good stuff today too. He?s fast, he?s hard, he?s super competitive, he?s totally team oriented and he makes some smart decisions. All players make some mistakes. In my best 22 everyday of the year. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Yes, he's been using the ball very well all year. And his calmness is also handy, especially when others in the backline can be prone to panicky disposals.Comment

Mark McClure on ABC Grandstand gave 1 vote Heeney, 2 votes Sinclair, 3 votes JPK.Comment

Watch what Papley did to get the ball out to Hayward for the sealer. THAT'S why he's there. There was less of it this week, but watch how often he hits the ball at high speed because he just knows where it's going, or somehow manages to extract it from heavy traffic. You can't teach that. It's just natural instinct for the game.
He is an automatic selection every week as far as I'm concerned. My opinion is objective truth in its purest formComment

Haha, I knew you would know whom I was talking about! That person has single-handedly caused me to barrack for whichever team the Cats play every week (and yet I don?t dislike the Cats themselves). He is plain horrible.
I have noticed that very few Swans fans (including you and me) bother to comment on the AFL tab on The Roar anymore and I think it?s because of him. Impossible to have a balanced discussion with a hater.Comment

Yeah plus one there . Papley wasn?t bad at all today , such a hard nut , created opportunities and stopped a lot of Geelong atttack with his pressure and tackling.

It was in the first half...maybe the 2nd quarter. I think it was to the right of screen. They showed the incident on channel 7 news but it was too quick for me to determine if Heeney is in trouble. It's not good that Horlin-Smith has concussion.
Apparently Buddy didn't play. But I wouldn't have known if Deeerrrwaaayne Russell hadn't reminded me about 100 times and kept asking if we were a one man team ????.Comment
