Some time in the reserves for Rohan and I would be looking for a trade, if we got something decent in return I think it can be a win win for both sides.

Some game time for Aliir next week to show he deserves to keep his spot.

Some time off for Jack, should be his last year. Take a few games off between now and the Finals (assuming we make it).

Some time training for Hanners, clearly not fit and isn't the type of player who can play half-fit.

Some time to think of the biggest call of all, buddy to spend 50% of his time on the wing. Our players simply can't resist him when he is in the forward line, I think we have enough talent to score enough goals to win.

Some time to dream about a premiership next year don.t think we are good enough yet.

We were thoroughly beaten by a much better team. They were way too quick, produced too many open men on the move, especially inside 50. Riewoldt had a super game.

We really need to pack away Hanners and Jack for the season and see if our rehab group can get them back to some sort of form next year.

I'm also giving up on Rohan. Such a disappointment. I would be willing to give him a try as a defender, but he can't play that forward role he's been doing for so long now. It's obvious that he can only produce cameo performances there.

The score didn?t accurately reflect the game in my opinion. Ten minutes at the end blew the score out but to be fair they had almost twice as many scoring shots. Possibly could have lost by 40 or more.
However there were several positives for the Swans in that we put a team on the field that probably was missing 4-5 players on the night. If our whole team had turned up tonight we may have had a chance but it wasn?t to be

I just noticed....we scored the first goal in the last quarter in 45 seconds.......and didn't score again. I think it was us that tired. I have to say, Richmond are fit. They work hard all game and grind it out right to the end, in fact, step it up in last quarters. They're going to be hard to stop, safely ensconced at the MCG.

So does it sync ok? I had it on mute since halftime but I do like hearing the crowd noise. That commentary team apart from Daisy makes me ears bleed.
I paused the tv for about ten seconds while the radio caught up and went from there. It was so much more.... I won't say enjoyable on tonight's performance, but a million times better than listening to Bruce and Ling.

Horse has a track record of reluctance to drop established ?stars? / former captains. After tonight he?d have to be aware we can?t win it with so many passengers in the team.

Melican can?t come back soon enough. Reiwoldt destroyed us. Aliir looked very nervous, uncomfortable.

Rose will make way for Papley.

Would we rather have Towers than Rohan? Or give someone else a go?

Jack should make way too ...

But we know Horse will give them a chance to atone next week

                Positives:
                • Kennedy was a beast.
                • Parker was sooo tough and can never be criticised for his effort.
                • Ronke has been a real find.
                • Hewitt is a professional footballer who can do a good stopping job but can also get some contested footy
                • Zak Jones is so important for our run from the back
                • McCartin is so promising. It would be nice to see if he can start hitting the scoreboard but I love this kid already.

                Negatives:
                • Rohan. I've always been a supporter but I think Ronke does his forward pressure job much better.
                • Rose. It is hard to come in from the NEAFL to play against the best team in the comp but I don't think he's good enough.
                • Hanners has definitely lost 10%. I can't knock his effort but his polish is not there.
                • Sinkers got thoroughly beaten by Nankervis both in the ruck and around the ground.
                • Jack. 8 possessions hmmmm

God the inconsistency in umpiring drives me to derision though - if frees were paid consistently to both sides tonight for the same offences, it would of been a 1 kick game at most.

But we really have killed ourselves with a lot of turnovers, a lot of unforced errors, and plenty of dumb decision making.

But we are not far away - and could of won tonight with some luck go our way (that awful bounce for a critical goal in the 4th being a perfect example). The 26 point margin does not reflect the game imo - much like the margin in the '16 grand final did not reflect the overall closeness of the contest.

Our passengers really got shown up badly tonight however. But at least we have a decent measure of where we are at - and its not too far away.
I think 26 points is flattering. We were awful. Lack of composure across the ground. Just gave it back time and time again & the tigers were ruthless coming back.

If not for Kennedy, Jake, Parker and some desperate defence, it would have been 50 points.

As for the rest, really liking Hewett, Ollie & Hayward plus Ronke?s effort is lovely to watch.

I like Aliir, but he really does look lost at times & his kicking makes me cringe.

I just can?t see how long we can carry a number of players who have such a low impact in big games.

The discussion we have to have. We have been carrying passengers for quite a while but they get a Gold Pass because we are winning. They got shown up tonight.

Rohan just doesn't get enough footy, for all his highlight reel stuff he needs to be replaced.

KJ, a sad end to a great career, just a shadow of his former self, must go back to the NEAFL to see if he can recapture form.

Rose, great at NEAFL level, just not enough at senior level, gone.

Replacements? Obviously Papley is one, Towers whilst struggling after the eye injury probably gives us more than the outs, COR needs to be exposed to senior footy and Dawson is a must if he can find form again.

We just can't carry that many passengers, we can't Horse, please!

I've completely given up on Rohan now. I've defended him so many times in the past, but tonight was the final straw. Rarely performs in crucial games, loses confidence too easily.

I'd keep Towers in the team in his place for the rest of the season.

Rohan needs a rest as does Jack. They need to fight their way back in. Rose has never shown enough for me - shows the gulf between NEAFL and AFL. We played like @@@@ and didn't get flogged by the 'best' team. Unusual.
A rest? Rohan could not possibly be tired. He's had games off and the bye.. it's the same problem that's plagued him his whole career.. he can't impact a game beyond 1 or 2 moments of brilliance. Which he does occasionally.

Sad to see KJ and Hanners so off the pace as well. They both look cooked at present, and hard to know if they'll turn a corner.

Fox, Reid, Papley in and that team looks a lot better.

Positive is that McCartin looks to be the goods for the youngest player in the league, think we've got a gun in the making.

The commentary didn?t really bug me , the Swans turnovers did .
                            The Tigers smashed us .
                            Reiwoldt was awesome .

The main consolation is that this is not the lineup that will play finals and Richmond were almost at full strength tonight.

Reid plus Buddy will create a synergy that will be hard to stop. Papley and Melican will make a difference and Heeney without concussion will be awesome.

KJ and Rose won't feature.Hanners and Rohan look shakey. Dawson, Fox, Newman, COR, Marsh and Towers waiting in the wings means that we can pick in form players as required.

But Horse needs to stop the charity for the chosen few.Its not fair to the others.
