Just watched the game against NT Thunder (a little behind the times I know).
I didn't know AJ was the captain (at least in that game) although it probably was a foregone conclusion that he should be.

Really liked Joel Armatey.

It's a shame about Joel. He could have really been something had he not been abducted by aliens.

I believe theoretically you can play anyone as long as you get clearance from the NEAFL, the opposition club, and whatever club(s) the player usually plays for.

By the way, it seems like the NEAFL MVP awards are currently being televised on YouTube. Probably a fair way to go? I assume that Darcy Cameron has got a pretty good chance.

This was the leaderboard when voting results were stopped after Round 16, i.e. 5 games to go but Swans only had 4 games due to 1 bye.

Cameron was named in the bests in all 4 games so is an outside shot but Maguire does finish off the season quite well.

He's a lock to be named in the NEAFL Team of the Year though.

I only tuned in as they started to announce the team of the year. They are just going through votes now for rounds 9-12 but I guess none of that is secret.
