Umpires killing us ? Ha! Our lack of run, our poor disposal , a lacklustre buddy, a lack of game plan , and a lack of heart , these are the things killing us.

Yup. 10 goals doesn't win games any more and seemingly everyone else runs faster for longer.

I have been following the game since 1971 - umpiring inconsistency may make me give it away - sick to death of the bias.

1966 for me. The Swans have always been screwed by the umpires. It was the same situation when we were at Lakeside Oval. Historically it's been because we had a small and quiet fan base. I now suspect it's because of the hatred that the VFL has for us.

People might call this sour grapes or bias but just look at the stats.

Our game plan is crap , if we even have one , and our players seem to have lost the ability to run hard defensively and stick tackles . Oh yeah , and we don’t know to score , which is kind of essential to winning a game of footy.

People are seriously delusional if they think the umpires were the difference tonight. 34 scoring shots to 16. They beat us all over the ground.
