The Swans seriously need to 'privately' speak to the league about our treatment from the umpires. Momentum halting, energy sapping, mentally exhausting and game changing treatment......but I suspect the Swans believe it would come to nothing or backfire and actually get worse. The smell of Victorian entitlement must reek in the halls of AFL House.
.....and from what I just saw, who comes in for Zac Jones next week? You got to laugh or you'd cry.......

A decent team will deal with the bombers without trouble.... we just aren't a very good team at the moment that's all."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

no excuses pathetic display wont tackle wont chase and promising youngsters left on the bench Longmire tries to rely on a handful of older players. been a member since they arrived in Sydney went to games when they couldn't win all year, gave money when we rattled tins to save swans. sadder now than when we lost every game we need a new coach with new ideasforgotten 1996
2005 a much sweeter memory,2012 even betterComment

Hmm, not pretty. Completely out-tackled (20-3 the respective inside 50 tackle count - not even the free kick count was that lopsided). Thoroughly outplayed, so very very slow and with such little confidence or flair (until the game was over). Will take a monumental effort to turn this around, but time to give some of the youngsters a spell.
Thank God for AA (and thank God we've already locked him away).Comment

I am glad that Jones is going to cop a suspension. Maybe then someone at the club can lknock some common sense in him. How many brain farts can a player have. Like MCS said I won't be unhappy to see him shipped off if we got something in return. He is the most frustrating player on the list.Comment

It's a game of increments too. If one player is slightly down on form but offers confident leads; another misjudges the speed of their opponent; someone else misjudges a mark and the crumbers aren't in place....

My opinion is objective truth in its purest formComment

Bombers are about twice as fast as us on the outside. As they demonstrated. Kangas are in twelfth place. I'd say that's where Swans should be in the 10-14 zone.Comment

As bad as we have played, do you think our players don't notice how they're being adjudicated during a game and it not affect the way they attack the opposition, their decision making, their overall confidence? 28 - 14 free kick count, 20 - 9 vs North, 20 -8 in the 2016 GF, it's just not right. I wouldn't blame a lot of the players if they were starting to get a bit disillusioned about the chances of reaping just rewards for all of the effort they put in. I put myself in their shoes and imagine it would be mentally exhausting......
