Also agree 1000% regarding the 2016 GF. Watch the little video the #FreekickHawthorn people made. It’s just ridiculous what happened that day. Hannebery’s knee injury happened right in front of us, early in the last quarter. It took out a significant player for almost 25% of the game, and we didn’t even get the free kick. To this day I wonder if it was done purposely. The effect of that game on the club, psychologically and physically, over these last two years cannot be overestimated. By the way, with 7 minutes to play, there was a kick in it.

I went to Essendon-Sydney in 2011, when Adam Goodes missed a shot after the siren. My sister who was with me turned and said “at least we’ll get out of the ground alive now”. The Essendon fans are pretty feral.Comment

We need to:
a) learn to stick a @@@@ing tackle.
b) handball in front of a running player, not behind them.
c) lead to the player with the ball. We were so stagnant of Friday (Thus causing Newman and Aliir to be get nailed while trying to take a kick)
d) Then kick to the targets advantage, rather than to the target.
e) As above, play the ball not the man. Happened far too often as well.Comment

Horrible percentage. Play attractive fast football but can't handle finals type play.
They have beaten those sides but lost to some poor ones
Also Swans have won against GSW, Cats, Eagles means nothing when you haven't got any percentage or enough wins overallComment

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I didn't listen to Longmire's post game press conference on Friday but I've just read some media articles reporting on it. Others will know this (having listened to the PC) but news that Franklin has trained for a total of 20 minutes this season (and is battling a knee and possibly a thigh injury) certainly put into perspective the daft criticisms emanating from Brereton (and jumped on by idiot Barrett) about the way the Swans have been using Franklin.Comment

Irony is that I have never touched any drugs.
It has had it's benefits though. often I am sent to the dog sniffer queue in Melbourne. Much faster than checking bags for food or wood etc

I get hit up for the explosive swab 90% of the time.
Not profiled, but bad luck. Every time I walk past they have just finished with someone and grab me.
Surprisingly they are happy to discuss why they do it, what they are looking for and their hit/miss rate.
They said last time that they try and get to 5 to 10% of people coming through, so my percentage is pretty awesome. The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.Comment

The fact that the MC have chosen to play Franklin injured all year and haven't been able to come up with an alternative plan to "kick it to Buddy and the 3 defenders hanging off him" reflects poorly on them and just further validates Brereton's argumentsComment

I agree that it did them a favour but they are still out of the 8 with a @@@@ty percentage.Comment
