He’s obviously not going to get sacked, but surely questions need to be asked after this season

We are playing the same game style that saw Malthouse ridiculed at Carlton

Only mediocre clubs rest on their laurels

Great coach. Been fantastic for the club but a new voice is needed.

Agree with this Horse is officially a Swans legend but now new thinking and a new game plan is required
Shame that the draft doesn’t extend to coaching staff we may have been able to do well and increase our depth if it was ????

Agree. Watched the Melbourne Storm game and commentators praised Craig Bellamy for his efforts of getting his team ready for finals. We have had many disappointing games in finals. I am thinking horse does not have the ability of preparing a team for a finals series.

Maybe not just yet but he and his fellow selectors need a kick up (you no what) for not selecting Cameron for more than 1 game, needed someone up forward besides Buddy.

I am sick and tired of the team getting into finals and then putting in a rubbish effort.

If it happened only once or twice in a decade or two you could forgive them, but sorry to say yesterdays effort is only too common. I can't forget 2014 final when we finished on top and then gave up against the Dawks.

We have to change our game style, we have to change the way the team is coached and trained during the year - our handball and kicking skills are terrible - one of the worst in the AFL.

So everyone needs to have a real hard look at themselves over summer, players and coaching staff.

I'd be having a real close look at the forwards coach (as one instance - there are more).

STOP KICKING IT TO BUDDY. JUST FREAKIN STOP IT. Ok.

I'm pretty sure we finished this season with the lowest percentage we have had in the last decade (of course I haven't checked his, but this is what it feels like - you know, the vibe!).
Sure, the Bud was injured and often manned-up three or four to one... where were the other forwards when their man ran to Buddy?
I believe there are five other "forwards" and at least six midfielders who can jump in and lend a hand. Where are they? Why aren't we kicking the ball to them.
Our defence worked their BUTTS off this year. It's all very well to stop the other team from scoring, but it's more important to score ourselves.

Hate to say it, but I believe we should get a couple of kids from Auskick in to show them basic skills.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

                        No Reid.
                        No Mills.
                        No Naismith.
                        No Smith.
                        Buddy and Hanners injured.

                        coulda made a difference.

Hey Scott you let out Tippett & Melican and also Johnson getting injured against Melbourne. All would have made a difference.

Did someone say "chart" ? No? Let's have one anyway

Certainly the lowest in some time (since 2011). But remember what happened the year after that!

There's a pretty key difference between 2018 and 2011, the graph is now heading in the opposite direction

Thanks for the stats kids, I knew I could count on you.

The percentage this year was appalling.
It was the difference between one shot and two.
