With Reid back, we can be a threat

If he makes it past quarter time. I won't be holding my breath.

          Ins: Franklin, Parker
          out: Fox, Newman

I want to keep Dawson in and Robbo has been playing his role well.

Rohan - he would come in for McCartin but I can't see it happening.

          Hannebery - I doubt they'll omit him.

We'll tag a couple of their key playmakers, was it Robbo who shut down Whitfield last time, if so Robbo won't be dropped.

Robbo and Handbrake Harry Cunningham shared time on Whitfield, if I remember rightly. Possibly Cunningham spent a little bit more time on him.

Would like to see hanneberry dropped but it wouldnt be a good look. Mind you he played a stellar game against the dees a few weeks ago
At the MCG? He was awful.

Keeping him in is more of a risk, we need to match their pace.
Grundy's experience will be invaluable. Aliirs inexperience is more of a risk. Especially after last week. Confidence should not be questioned in finals football.

I hate to say it but I bet they pick Rohan for sure. The problem with that is he may play a decent game in the small SCG, but if the Swans go further, he will be picked to play at the WACA or MCG and will be have no idea how to play the ground and will be lost like a man stuck in the middle of the Sahara desert! Just on thesubject of awful at the MCG.

Thats what we all fear, but we also have a tiny bit of hope he'll have a finals series for the ages.

Obviously I am going against the consensus of posters by declaring that I would love to see Rohan in the team. He will never be a stats accumulator but he does have that X factor where he can do something with his pace. I would love to see him play deep in attack using his speed coming to the attacking player out of the square. Buddy could be use a decoy. He is a good mark and a very good long kick.

Hmm it’s a an interesting point. We need some X factor , he has finals experience and maybe we do need to roll the dice. Nick Davis was never super consistent for us but in one final he made himself a Swans legend for life.

For mine we need more pace to go with GWS....

                                IN: Franklin, Parker, O'Riordan, Rohan

OUT : Fox, Hannebery, Newman, Grundy

I only include Grundy on this list because I can't see a match up for him.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT
