Have we played a worse game this year?

Our intensity has been terrible. We haven't been desperate like they have. Every time the ball lands there are 3 or 4 Giants and we are lagging behind.

And to think last week we were playing for top 4!

I didn't think we were good enough this year but I thought we would put up a better effort than this.

It's performances like this that had me hoping after the Gold Coast game (obviously enraged!) that we would not win another game for the year and slide down the ladder... I figured it'll be better off to try and get another high pick before we draft Blakey than get embarrassed in another final, and we have once again...

Very disappointing but not unforeseeable with some of the crap we’ve served up this year. Glad in a way it’s a belting as we cant paper over the cracks , plus my blood pressure gets a break . Beaten all over the park , not good enough this year! At least we can now relax and enjoy the finals and dream of who we can trade in to help our side next year!

Not happy with this result. But I’m rarely (I’d dare suggest never) embarrassed by my club. Disappointed by some results, sure. But we’re still a very young side. Buddy didn’t look 100%. Our injury list hurts.

I’m not happy that this might be our lowest every score at the SCG. I’m not happy that it might be our lowest ever finals score. I’m not proud of tonight’s effort.

It just wasn’t our night. It wasn’t our season. But there will be other seasons. Hopefully next season.

Hopefully we are spared injuries and reports in the last 10 minutes of 2018. And hopefully we can kick 2 goals to spare us one of those unwanted records.
