And perhaps our coaches are sorta relieved, that they're not the only ones, that are unable to solve the mystery of, 'where does Gary go?". It's quite an interesting skill, really. Being able to run out on to an oval, in front of up to 100,000 people, and then not being seen for the next twenty minutes or so.

        .

I suspect that that will be a mystery that will never be solved. I reckon you could probably set any RWO poster up on the wing in an armchair
with a glass of red and we'd get more possies than Gary. It's a weird one.

Yes, but a few of us, including me, would have a problem with our glass of red being interrupted.

I totally understand. It's always important to keep our priorities in the right order. As Gary would say, "someone else will just get the ball
anyway". That will be easier this arvo as somehow I haven't been offered a spot in the Mark Bayes function room at the SCG and will
likely need at least a few glasses to fortify me as I enter the strange and scary new world of free-to-air TV.

And Nic Newman seems like he’s done a patella tendon. Lots of pain

Saw a bit of the Saints game and Jones looked good. His kicks hit targets and he didn't spray away with his kicks.

But he looks like the total package.

Ruptured, out for the rest of the season. Rotten luck.

Jones and Hannebery both listed in best players for St Kilda in their shellacking of the Dogs. Membrey kicked a goal.

I hope St Kilda’s thank you note is in the mail ....

That can be a career ending injury. Nasty.

Eddie McGuire on Fox Footy last Friday Night mentioned that Bobby Skilton is in hospital with a broken shoulder after having a fall. Not sure if anyone was aware of this, as I haven't seen this reported elsewhere in the media and concerned considering Bobby's age & recent health issues. Hope he's recovering well.

I think it was reported in the Herald Sun 3 days ago - I just looked and while I can’t access the article, it was dated 3 days ago

Yes, I read that in the Hun a few days ago but forgot to mention it here. It will be sad day when time catches up with Bobby.
                            Get well Skilts! ????

My dad spoke to Skilton a few days ago and he's in good spirits.

Poor Bobby hasn't had much luck the last few years.

It hurts a little bit seeing how well Zak Jones is doing at St Kilda, and doubly so knowing that we got shafted at the trade table. It eases the pain a smidge that there probably wasn't much more we could have done to keep him (unlike with Mitchell - which hurts a bit more because we also got shafted in the trade but we could have kept him if we had tried a bit harder and hadn't decided to prioritise other players). Afl.com.au's 'Data Report' with the guy from Champion Data focused on the value that Zak Jones is bringing to St Kilda, and I watched it yesterday, which is why i happen to bringing this up now.
