Inside 50's 28 to 20 our way - much better first half effort than last week.

Kennedy and Parker much better at 1/2 time this week. Buddy just starting to show signs too.

Bloody oath - it works for West Coast, Richmond, Collingwood etc etc, Geelong at home.

I was one of those hoping Paps would go back to small forward but he is providing some decent drive from the centre tonight....and with Ronke back in, it makes sense he's in there.

Still 6 frees to 14. Some fair umpiring would help. Even a few softies to us to even things up.

Yeah, the players periodically come out and say 'we want to make this a real fortress' and then it all goes pear shaped. They should add that the crowd 'has it's part to play!'....our crowd is still a bit meek at times.

A lot of missed holding / dripping the ball calls against Adelaide , a few in our forward line , one right in front of goal . So @@@@ing frustrating

He dropped it AND he threw it...but nothing. Talia threw it (the second time) and no free. Lucky we got a goal straight after. When it's so obvious I don't understand how 3 umpires can miss it.

If we can get an even run with the umpiring in the 2nd half we are a chance. Much better stuff in the 2nd quarter.

Gee Blakey did well that quarter a couple of times - great stuff.

Why is a 2nd gamer the only one who can lower the eyes and drill a pass to leading players advantage in our forward line ? Can we make him our forward coach as well ?

Another good comeback but I really wish we could play from in front. I’m a little worried still though and I think the glaring stat is only 23 tackles for us in a half.

Soooo many matches remind me of the '16 GF.

It’s good to be in the game and to feel like we are a chance. Florent and Clarke appear to be off the pace.

“Thunderstruck” at quarter time, made all the difference right back in this one.

Before the game Horse said Blakey had an “enormous” tank. Might be handy delivering the ball inside 50 as he did to Hayward so perfectly.
