I know it’s now round 5, but wow the lions getting stiffed big time in the first qtr by the umps . Basically gifted two goals at one end and robbed of at least 2 free kicks in front of their goal . They are playing pretty well too, should be closer .

Similar sorry in the second qtr with a few even uppers ( that were there ). Incredibly frustrating . Pay them when they are there ! Both ways !!!! Also , if we were actually into Darcy Moore in the trade period , we really missed a star . He has been a beast so for this season , i wasn’t keen on the idea but wow, he is an absolute lock for an AA spot at this rate.

No-one is a lock for an AA spot after 4 and a bit rounds.

He'll likely develop "hamstring awareness" by about round 8 and miss a couple of months of the season.

Yes I am aware of that Liz. However I did say “at this rate “, meaning if he continues “at this rate” he will be. I obviously wasn’t suggesting 4 rounds of football earns you AA selection which again is why I said “ at this rate “. He’s been clearly the best performed back in the comp after 4 and a bit rounds IMO , so if that continues, he will be AA. I’m sure you knew what I meant not sure why you needed to jump in with that to be honest.

Phil Davis is miles ahead of Moore for AA key backman selection.

In your opinion Baz. Admittedly I’ve watched more of Collingwood this year so far than the giants , but Moore has been great. Miles ahead of any of our KPD , Rampe aside ( if you consider him a KPD that is )

After someone here called him Phil the octopus I usually follow suit.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
