There were some very clever things done in Sideways which may not be obvious to everyone.

The legendary 1961 Cheval Blanc that was the pride and joy of Myles wine collection is in fact almost 100% Merlot.

Frass Canyon winery where Miyles has his big spit bucket melt down is a fictional name, Frass is termite droppings, very clever :-)
