It's been such a long time since I've been this mad at the umpiring.

Anyway, we weren't at our best. Things that will help me forget about the awful umpiring and calm me down enough to stop the vein threatening to pop in my neck:
Good experience for our kids playing at the MCG.
Allir was great in the ruck, I'm loving his strategy as playing mostly as a rover rather than a ruck.
Joey looked like he is playing back into form and Heeney had a better game.
Mills and Papley had pretty ordinary first half but did better in the second.
Blakey does some amazing things for a kid and I very much look forward to watching him becoming a superstar, much like I enjoyed watching Goodes over his career.
Rampe is a freak. Damn that guy can do it all.
What's with Lloyd? He's been ordinary for a few weeks, but today was probably his worst.
Rowbottom did some great things in close, I think he's improving week to week.

Didn’t take our chances when they presented themselves however not disgraced considering how many decisions went against them. Not usually a supporter who blames the umpires but today was hard to accept.

I really feel bad for our Melbourne based supporters who can only see a few games a year, and then they see this ridiculous umpiring. I feel really bad for our players who play their heart out and then don't get a fair go...

Good result - I gave up watching after the umpires gifted them the game. How many frees in their forward line led to a goal? So I got the weekend's washing done instead. Now I just need to delete the recording and today never happened - apart from all those clean clothes.

We won the disposals, inside fifty's, clearances (both centre and stoppages), contested possessions.....but lost the free kick count 26 - 16......and therein lies the real story. The VFL sucks.....

List of dodgy frees or ones to us we should've got if they were consistent:
1) Ollie "push in the back" on MTW
2) Holding ball on Blakey (where was the prior?)
3) Holding on Aliir in ruck contest with McKernan leading to crucial goal
4) Deliberate out of bounds by Stringer when tackled by Rampe in forward pocket
5) Where was the 50m when Dawson got elbowed in the back of the head
6) Push in the back on one of our guys as we were pressing in attack during Q4
That is literally off the top of my head. Even though we had our opportunities and wasted many, we still should've won if not for the cheating umpires. And can we stop bloody playing on!!!!
