I don’t know the answer to that but Sam’s sister died about a week ago.. (Sam posted this on his Instagram account.) So I would not be surprised if he has spent time away.

The article at link below was pre the Crows match. Thank goodness Sam got to play that match before the season was suspended.

Awful news, I hadn't heard about that. Very sad

Oh that's terrible. That probably explains why he has been away from the club. Thanks Meg

Buddy "minor" surgery, listed at 8 weeks.
Based on previous injury guidance, id say he is lucky to make preseason

Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti has injured his ankle and will probably miss our game.

Getting close now, first "excitement" Thursday team announcement. Selection will be interesting, coming off a win, albeit 12 weeks ago, assume it will just be Hewett for the injured Ronke.

New world of flying in on the day for Essendon and having to share a plane with Norf, the protagonists in the "Marshmallow Wars" :-)

Naismith in doubt with hamstring tightness! Knoll has just done his PCL too. Phark!

Didn’t go that well for us last year. I think Naismith is the answer our he can play regularly, which hasn’t been the case.

I am hoping they don’t risk Naismith. Let Sinclair ruck this week so Naismith gets himself right. Then next week play Sinclair fwd and Naismith ruck.

Time for Sinkers to step up, AGAIN. He's the man.

He might not get the most hitouts but he is one of the gutsiest players I've watched.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Grrr. (But great for Darcy! And best wishes to him.)

All the while big Darcy Cameron, who we gave away for a pack of chips, set to debut for the pies, a team in flag contention.

                                Great !
