Yes, I suspect he'd be in better form, if Buddy was getting the number one defender and Reid the number two.

As far as I know, if you're under pressure, it's not deliberate. He was obviously under pressure.

Wretchmond do not like to kick. We are making them kick by shutting down the running handball option. We are not allowing them to tap and push the ball forward. We are making them ruck backward when they prefer to go forward. McLean is doing a great job.

It is as boring as bat @@@@@ but at least they have yet to blow us away. If they wake up to how we are blocking their run they will counter. They are not a kicking team. If we can make them foot pass they will fu** up again and again. But if we allow their run & gun game to get going they will blow us away. Simply because they will then steady and kick long to the big forwards which we have no answer for.

Again I am pissed off by Mills' disposal. He gives the ball back while under no pressure.

Lakey said he was dropped for bad form

Down on skills and decision-making as well as height and experience. The absence of fit players makes a bad position worse. On the upside, great to see the younger guys get stuck in and work at it. Hope it does not blow out.

Solid effort so far. They're having a dig so I'm happy. And Stephens looks good. Real good.

Teams in general are finding it hard to kick goals at the moment. The quality of the footy isn't great across the board. I wonder what Clarko will decide for the AFL in terms of making the game a bit more attractive....

Calm the farm....our list is thin....we will rise again.
We are undersized. Why not play Maibaum? Why drop Aliir for bad form when he has plenty of mates? Whay are all our players coming down with soft tissue injuries, many at training? I am only too aware we are under-manned. But to go into a game with an under 10's backline is astounding. This has nothing about being successful. It is about astounding selection decisions even before Aliir. It is about the 'what the @@@@' game plan that will never win a footy match.

That is what I was talking about. Even though Stevic is giving them everything. Rampe cannot play on Lynch

Great tackle and a few nice touches by Warner. Stoddart unsighted, just seems to struggle to get involved at AFL level.

                        pre-season supplemental selection IIRC

Warner is a really good size. Has some presence about him.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Hayward is looking OK as a defender
