He's not far from the Golden Triangle.

He was throwing a gridiron ball while jumping a chain fence.

So O’Riordan omitted not injured seems harsh after he only got to play less than a half.
Hewett having a back op, out 6-8 weeks.

Blakey keeps his spot, surely his last chance. Reid back will help him.

Does this mean we’ll FINALLY see Messiah Mills to the Mids, given Aliir named in the backline?

Blakey should have had his last chance 2 games ago. I think if daddy wasnot a coach he would be gone by now

Ring. He has been brave in the injury room apparently. I saw a couple of his games when he came back the first time. After a hiccup he came back toward the end of the season and was good. Unfortunately his toe was still troublesome. I hope the lad has a blinder. He is a very good user of the ball.

Good to see belly again. He is a talent and has strong contested ability. He uses it well too.

About time we saw Sammy out there. The late Sam Reid I call him because he generally starts a season late.

Grey and Taylor I am a bit tepid on. I hope both have good games but I think they are too much alike. Both overrun the ball too often.

                We will miss Hewee.

Pity about Riley and Chad. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to get Chad into the mids. Grey and Taylor will now do that job, or one will. Probably Taylor. They might like to change that around as I think grey is better in the mids than forward. He does not kick enough goals to be a permanent forward. Be an interesting look. I think Ling will play HB.

Rumour has it that back in those days the Wet Coke boys called their dealer "The Farmer".

Aye. This is going to be a touch-up of epic proportions.

Ling in.. Clarke and Blakey keep their spots.. COR dropped.. Rowbottom as a follower.. Gray and Taylor..

                      The tank is on.

Happy Ling will finally get to experience that sweet taste of running onto a ground for your first AFL game.

Pleased Ling is getting a game, although it sounds like others were in front of him.
I wouldn't be surprised if every healthy player got a game this year. We need to figure out who looks comfortable at this level, especially given the rumours around list reductions.

Of the main list players, only Thurlow (been injured), Bud (inj), Foote and Gould yet to play this year.
Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.

Whats up with Gould, would have been a game to try him against brueat & gundston, surely worth a game in place of Lewie Taylor and Sam Gray . as i have posted a couple of times should not have been recruited.

Rapt for Matt Ling, endured a tough two years with injuries but looks to have made use of his off feet time in the gym. Pace and skill his draft profile said, we can do with both!

                              We owe Hawthorn

                                Rubbish.
His issue is confidence. Dropping him may not be the best solution. A head coach who decides to show faith in you, despite the dip in output and confidence, could be exactly what was needed. This happens in cricket all the time. A bit of faith can be rewarded exponentially.

No surprise on Warner - we seem to have a formula of a couple of games then a break for new players. And we'll need him through the busy period. It's not an indication of form or future.
