Seriously, it’s getting laughable at how you and others on here can keep this narrative regarding Longmire alive.
Longmire will never coach another premiership. That is my prediction

Blakey you got but according to someone who saw the Scratch Match he does not deserve it

Well we gifted Blakey plenty this year and gifted again.

I asked the question earlier in the season. Will Franklin ever play again? Not looking good. If he does not get up this season he should give it away next season. He is not a part of any premiership aspirations the club has anyway.

So performance in other leagues may not have a great deal of relevance to getting a game in the firsts
He got injured in fact when Sinclair went down. We had no rucks and were using Aliir, Fox and Dawson (a huge mistake to use an elite player like him look what happened to Goodsie he did his knee). So Knoll was not fit when the opportunity arose

I agree but obviously the coaches do not. I am also a Bays fan. By the way you use Cruiser, Max Kruse played for both these footy clubs and was a very good player ay both. He played in the '86 Premiership team.

A bit bummed that Ling is out, but the changes are fair enough.
No Melican is playing the big tall part. Gould would be the Thurlow style part. I still think we are too short down back and if Thurlow plays on Cameron we are in trouble lol.

O'Riordan for Ling and Blakey for ET should improve us. Not sure about the loss of AA. But he looked lost and hurt last game and had no impact. Has the nature of his injury been made public?
Blakey would want to be far better than he's shown so far this season to improve us. COR too.

McCartin would be a mistake with his history of concussion

Would like us see run McLean in support of Sinkers. Stoked for Foot, but the other two in O'Riordan and Blakey, have been poor this season.
I agree. Late change as Johnny just wakes up 'gee we forgot about 2nd ruck'. But I can't see it. I think they will ruck Dawson which is abject stupidity. But what else can we expect.

I do not agree with the notion we are trying young players to determine whether they stay on the list or not.

Stephens, Warner, E. Taylor, Ling will all be Swans next year with or without games this year. By this measure we'd give young Swans like Blakey and Rowbottom a break from the seniors, given their spot on the list is assured. We know that would never happen.

Make no mistake .. Longmire is fielding his best 22 possible every week, and McLean and McInerney are not in it.
Well you have Blakey who could not get a kick in an electricity plant in the side. He was poor in the reserves according to observers.

OK you watched the recent scratch matches. Another person I read said they did too. They said Blakey was poor. Did a few things but generally not great. They said he does not do enough. Another thing that has worried me about him this season is that he has not been doing the team thing. Some very selfish acts.
