I don't know where Dawson will play this year. Every line looks full. The forward line looks understaffed with fit players if Buddy doesn't come good.
Perhaps he will also be moved to the middle.

Or start him on the bench and choose where he is needed after 5 min.. Sending him forward or back as needed.
train him to become the next Josh

Horse says we didn't want to lose AA "but salary cap and then the long term offer we couldn't match"- sounds like PA merely took advantage of an existing problem. The salary cap has been the reason for the Swans recent inactivity in the free agency/trade space.

Can anyone assure me that Buddy's contract prohibits and adjustments / back ending?

Like every RFA that changes club, the new contract is set in stone by the AFL, can't be altered in any way.

          Wow - go well, Paddy.

Just the reassurance I needed, thanks 707.

Dawson is a utility player. He will be played all over the ground.

Perfect wingman in my opinion. Our version of Andrew Gaff.

The second Instagram photo is pretty good too - looks like Armarty well above Hickey and Sinclair

Doesnt mean you can adjust other non-RFA contracts around it though. So the restrictive terms of buddy's contract arent stopping us going after free agents. It probably more likely that we are near 100% of the cap with buddy costs, and may not be that attractive to free agents chasing a premiership in the near term.

Anyone go top the match sim?

Read on BF that Gould looks fit and had the better of McDonald. Thought Gould would be a certain starter last season after his 2019 senior SANFL season, hopefully another who comes on this year adding to our regenerating team.

Trying to do best 22's, finding it difficult to leave out a number of players - which is good :-)

Not sure I see the comparison tbh. Agree he’s a great wing option ( but not really in the Gaff mould) but also a great HBF / HFF option too. I really like his versatility but we may get more out of him if we settle him somewhere.
