The game last week was there.

I'm planning to come down for it this week!

Yeah, I assume that’s where it would be played. It’s against the giants though, right? I’m hoping it isn’t at one of their grounds.

And with player turnover, about a third of people voting this year, weren't playing for us in 2019. Which is a significant change in the voting population.

Any news on the progress of Taylor? There was no mention of him in the injury report and I haven't spotted him in the training photos.

We have some extra spots on our main list and no extra players training with us to perhaps fill those spots, unlike most other clubs.
There is an article on the swans site about Paddy joining the VFL side and it lists the other players. There is a link in the VFL thread.

Went to the last intra club and Adam Gulden played in defence and did a few nice things.

They are a part of our senior squad. Most of the players are in the senior squad and only 12 players will be extra so I'd say they train with the senior squad.

According to the Western Australian Logan Mcdonald kicked 4 sausage rolls in our Intra club. I can't read the whole article because it is behind Murky Murdoch's barrier that you have to pay to break.

I found a similar article but check the date, I think that was Friday 12th Feb.

Thanks I didn't see that. I don't know how he could have kicked 4 goals last week in an Intra Club. In Match Play yes but we had no Intra Club until today. Weird. Thank you for pointing that out

I can find no information about the hit out this morning. If I had still been in Sydney I would have video and stills from the game as I would have gone if allowed. But now I live in SE Asia I can no longer just hop on a bus to Henson

Have just returned after watching the inter-club at SCG No 2.

The two teams looked to be probables vs possibles initially. Interestingly there were quite a few that appeared on the possibles list that I would have had in probables; Rowbottom, Dawson, Hewitt, Sinclair, O'Riordan & McLean.

                              The starting 17 Reds were:

                              Cunningham McCartin Melican
                              Lloyd Rampe Fox
                              Blackey Kennedy Florent
                              Heeney Reid Haywood
                              Papley McDonald
                              Hickey Mills Parker

The game was played over 4 quarters but each quarter was broken into two halves.
Many of the starting Reds had been shuffled off before 3/4 time and replaced by Greens who themselves were replaced by East Coast players.

The quality of the game was marred by poor handling due to "sweat and dew on the ball , which makes it like a piece of soap", this quote came from one the officiating umpires.

The best players were LLoyd, Haywood (5 goals), McCartin, Kennedy, Blakey, Mills, Heeney and Papley.

Parker had left the ground before the end of the second half of the first quarter, not certain why.
Ling looked to have injured his ankle late in the game.
Haywood had left knee heavily strapped but was unstoppable.
Hickey got stronger as match progressed and overshadowed all comers.

Armerty for the Greens showed plenty. He was agile and committed in every contest. Kicked multiple goals and looked confident against quality opponents.
Stephens also looked comfortable in this company and did enough to suggest he may find a place in first 22.
Bell also looked good in this match especially early, as did Ronke.
Reid continued to get to contests and gave Papley, Haywood and Heeney plenty of opportunities.

Players that I thought would have done better were:

Rowbottom - looked to be off colour. Was being left behind when on Kennedy and was unable to stop Mills or Parker. He did not appear to have the same energy and spirit that we witnessed last season.
McDonald - Big lad but did not see enough of the ball. Caught out of position often and will need spend some time getting accustomed to a new style of play.
O'Riordan - COR seemed a bit lost when ball was in his area. Fumbled often and looks to have lost a bit of touch over summer.

Based on this Match Sim, my starting 22 are:

                              Cunningham McCartin Meican

                              Lloyd Rampe Fox

                              Blakey Kennedy Florent

                              Haywood Dawson Stephens

                              Heeney Reid Papley

                              Hickey Parker Mills

                              Bench: Bell Amartey Hewitt Ronke

Glad to see Bell being recognised for his intensity. On the opposite end of the spectrum, speaking to your observations about Rowbottom, this video posted to the Swans Twitter includes two horror moments he won't want to watch back, including one where he simply gives up on pressuring an opponent - Kennedy I think it is.
