    Looks very solid on paper.
Working through that list, there's a number of things that I'm looking forward to seeing.

Starting down back, I'm keen to see if O'Connor is a genuine prospect. Apparently he's very athletic and key position size. Early reports last season were encouraging, but he slipped off the radar a bit, since he was just playing in unseen scratch matches. Similarly with Gould. All our other recent draftees are prospects (ET excluded), so, is he also very promising, or is there some flaw holding him back? Also, I'm interested in what sort of rebound Ling and O'Riordan can provide.

In the ruck, I expect Sinclair to show plenty of leadership qualities. And assuming that Amartey will also be rucking, I'll be hoping that he'll show enough to justify his list spot.

Around them, I expect Rowbottom to look a class above. I'm also interested in the performances of Bartholomaeus and Thorne. Both have been tough in and midfielders at lower levels: so hopefully they can continue that at VFL level.

In the forward line, I think that there's a fair chance that McLean will have a big game, as he's likely to be the main focus of our attack. And of course, attention will be on the performance of McCartin. Since he's had such a long absence, I'm not expecting that much, but it would be nice to see a few signs. In fact, I'm not sure if I want to see him show too much straight away, as I suspect that might increase the chances, of another club taking him in the midseason draft, before we have a chance to pick him.

I would not be surprised if they play McCartin down back. I agree its a strong looking seconds team.

I can't get Kayo to accept the 6 digit code they SMSed to my phone. I had it resent 7 times. And it won't load the My Account page either. I located in Australia through my VPN, so I don't know what's wrong. I doesn't look as though I will be able to resolve this today.

Any else having problems setting up with Kayo?

Giants woke up in second half of that quarter and a few unforced turnovers by Swans also helped their cause. Giants up by a point at quarter time.

Some poor turnovers by the Swans. Sheather and Ling probably our best ATM.

Rowbottom has a heap of strapping on his left leg Paul Roos style

                      Other notables so far
McLean just really plays his role well and Sheather is everywhere just kicked the last goal and reminds me of Wicks how he plays but with blonde hair ...just made it 46 to 29

Gould to Ling across back half to Mccartin marks further up the wing beautiful low trajectory laser kick to Bell
Movement on the mark 50 metre penalty to the goal square and second goal to. bell whom I think is so dependable

A couple of minutes later McLean goal after the siren from 50
                        Score 9.4 58 Sydney to 4.6 40 half time

Clarke looking good too. Nice to know if Kennedy/Mills/Parker goes down we have Rowbottom and Clarke in the wings.

You can see they are trying to execute a similar game style to the senior team. Just with the class turned down a notch or two, which leads to some overuse of the ball and a few kicks going astray. Entry into the forward line is a bit more haphazard, understandably.

One thing they are doing superbly all around the ground is applying pressure. That’s why they’re 28 points up at half time.
