    Agree

We outplayed Adelaide and the umpires but our backline was weak and is a point of concern if we want to make finals (crazy i know).

I think we could use another key defender. Miss Aliir. Maybe we can bring Melican back, or even give Gould a shot. I don't think Rampe is doing that well playing an undersized defender. He would be a lot more useful playing on a midfielder or trying to roll off his man and help out in other contests.

With Dawson taking most of the kick-ins and Campbell being the other main kicking option out of defence, we should move Lloyd to the midfield. His role in defence has disappeared since we are now kicking the ball long out of defence. We are a very different team the way we move the ball downfield this year and have to rethink our player roles. There's going to be a bit of experimenting until we get it right.

Adelaide played better than I thought they would. The game v Geelong wasn't a fluke. Their main on ballers outplayed our guys. Rowbottom would be a help, but we have to do better winning clearances.

Give it a rest. We’re one of the youngest teams and are 2-0 but tiring in the last good means it’s "not good enough"? Ridiculous.

They didn't even list Ronke and Rowbottom on the injury list, even though it was noted in the injury update website article. Brand is not injured, but it's not clear when he will have done enough contact training to be available for selection. But when he is, he should be in the mix.

The Swans are terrible at injury and reserves coverage. And now with pressure on the soft cap, we must be short on media people. Why can't we get a work experience kid to pick up the slack? Or don't they do things like that anymore?

I was a hickey critic, but I'm on board now. What a beautiful kick!.

Game time commentary. I posted after the game that Buddy and Logan were on the bench for a lot of the last quarter, hence less rotations or we ran out of rotations.

I thought Lloyd, Rampe and Cunningham had shockers. Poor decision and skill errors. Luckily the Crows couldn’t kick a goal as if they converted most of the easy shots we would have been in deep trouble.

But despite some terrible umpiring decisions for HTB , our young brigade really put in a great effort.

I’m excited - how good is it having a proper ruckman!
it’s a case of warm the set & Cool the tinnies for the tigers next week. As long as we give the Tigers a bit of a touch up and don’t make it easy for them it’s all we can really ask of our lads.
