So Mrs Tigers went to the "food" gulag off the stairs to the top deck of the Brewongle at quarter time to get a couple coffees and a pie for me,
and comes back without the pie. Apparently they were still "a bit frozen" and wouldn't be heated up enough to be eaten "for a while".
Seriously, WTF is wrong with these people. Did they not get enough warning time, y'know two months since the draw was released, that
heated pies might be required on this particular Saturday arvo? I may well survive this mobile membership thing, but no pies! It's
    un Australian.

My theory is the sledging of the Hickey recruitment is based on his name. It makes him sound like a clunker. But his historical stats were good as a second ruck and he's played really well.

I was at the game and thought most of the HTB in our defensive 50 were there. Tex’s tackling was a standout.

Great and at the same time weird to be in a crowd of 24k. It was a perfect afternoon for football.

Cant quite believe we are 2-0 and have kicked 37 goals in 2 games.

The Tigers game last year ended up being a war of words between Horse and Dimma who accused us of playing a spare. In fact he was sending one forward up to the contest.

I certainly remember it as a dour, defensive game.

This year should be very different

I give us half a chance. Blues were able to move the ball against them with ease at times.

And I think the new rules will make them easier to play against.

Don’t know why, but I’ve got a feeling Hawks might best them 2morrow

If Rowbottom is back, I'd prefer to keep McInerney and drop Hewett. Still think we might see Mills slide back. Agree with comments that we're thin at the back. Rampe still finding touch.
Maybe we should take into account that McLean played back last week, tall, strong McLean. Take him out and replace him with ? and we have Rampe playing on Tex. I think that made a significant difference to the balance of the backline. I may not have noticed but it didn't seem as though Hickey or Sam Read got back there much to help out.

I am gobsmacked at what this Swans team has been able to do so far in 2021. Always believed we were capable and that this list full of young talent would go far but holy heck i did NOT think it would come together THIS quickly ! To have scored 246 points combined in our first 2 rounds ! Errol, Braeden and Logan on fire ! Heeney back to his best! BUDDY on the field by round 2! Warner and Sammy Wicks coming out of nowhere!! Jmac returning back to his best like he never missed any footy! HICKEY becoming a genuine dominant big man! Tom McCartin already shaping up as our next great star defender - a Bloods tradition! - its so surprising. But so wonderful to see. I cant speak highly enough of the coaching job of John Longmire to wrangle all these moving parts into a cohesive game thats as exciting to watch as it is difficult for opposition teams to stop !! Cant help but wonder the positive impact Don Pyke has had too.... he might be an even better off season recruit than the Hick!!!

And we did this all without Jimmy Rowbottom! We did feel his absence at times today but anyone under the impression that he will not walk back into this team when ready is sorely mistaken!!

A humbling experience in store for us against the Tigs in all likelihood. I will be there, screaming, cheering, singing "Ohh Errol !" But who knows what this Swans juggernaut could do! Bloody excited to find out !!

            Cheer cheer !!

Interesting. Agree Hickey didn't get back quite as much as last week. Also agree that Reid might be more useful back as Buddy and McDonald pick up game fitness.

I thought McLean was named down back but played forward last week, so Buddy was a straight swap?

Imagine telling people a couple years ago that, the Swans would be the highest scoring team in the league!

Back home after a big Catalina lunch and a night out in Bondi Junction.

So happy that the Swans scored over 100 points. I love my flankers. Can we find a way to get Stephen’s into the team to overwhelm the opposition with so many run and carry options.

Is it time for Wicks or Cunningham to make way to get more young run into the team?

Do any astute watchers of football think that the current Swans team resemble the baby bombers of 1993?

Just get Blakey out he contributes nothing. Laast game Stephens played he had 19 possessions in a shortened match. Blakey will never get 19 possessions because he cant pick the ball up, just fumbles it and taps and soccers, runs around like a man on fire but not doing any damage with the footy.

So what's the relationship between Bangalore and Bondi Junction?

Hey Bloods. I’ve been on the forum for a small time but I can sense your animosity towards Blakey and Rowbottom. Your animosity towards these two players is comparable to Piers Morgan’s animosity towards Meghan and Harry. Did Blakey and Rowbottom let you down somewhere along the line? What prevents you opening your heart to the these two potential great Swans players?

Yes watched the replay and about 10 seconds before Llyod received that stupid handball in the goal square there was a obvious holding the ball against an Adelaide crow player. Also why was the free kick given to Tex Walker? I though you were suppose to have a chance of getting rid of the ball before holding the ball is called? Llyod had no chance.
