And the accumulator Will Hayward keeps his spot. How long will it take on the "G" before he runs out of petrol?

No, it's been cancelled, due to the slight covid flare up.

And who are the umpires have they been announced?
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Stephens is the surprise for me. I thought he was good last week, without being outstanding. There is something on positioning or defence the coaches want from Stephens they think they ain’t getting. And there must be something off ball from Gulden they are getting not to give him a rest.
Spot on I think Stephens got sucked into the play to much . A lot of Geelong’s early attack was through his wing . He turned it around somewhat but still seems to struggle with structures at this early stage in his career . Will be a beauty though . Would have liked to see the club set him a negative task on Ed Langdon arguably the hardest working current wingman in the game . Would have been a great learning curve for him

Last time we tore it up at the 'G it was Reid, McLean, McDonald so three talls can apparently work.

Good ins for mine. After consigning Fox to the dustbin early last year, he came back and completely turned my opinion around - great to have him back. Glad also to see Heeney get a rest as he's clearly still struggling. Such an important player for us.

Agree with this. Although it looks like there will be three tall forwards with a lack of pressure, the reality is that this will rarely happen. In a mathematical sense, the four talls (including Hickey) will share 300% game time and so will average 75% each. All other things being equal (injuries), one tall will be on the bench at any given time.

Jfc that fwd line is too tall. We will get killed at ground level none are strong marks, McLean is still green. Kick inside 50 will have to be precise, wouldnt be giving that responsibility to Cunningham, Rowbottom or Clarke.

                    Update
I see that clarke isnt playing , but point about long kicks with too much hang time still stands

Hopefully it will be on in two weeks time, when both teams are scheduled for a bye.

Bit harsh on Stephens I feel! He should get a run and I think he should be the sub.

However I think this is close to our best 22. Heeney, O'Riordan and Reid for Sinclair, Stephens/Campbell and McLean and we're there!
Meant to rain in Melbourne this evening too so seems very tall for wet weather footy

I wondered if they’d play Stephens on Langdon too. It seems an obvious match up. But I think they think he’s not quite up to it yet. I’m fascinated who will get the job?
