What would be the contingency if those coaches are isolating for 14 days but the players are all ok?

Is it a player coach who takes them on match day or do they hire an experienced Ross Lyon type of coach to run the game day program?

I think they are ok. According to Fox Sports article they have tested negative and were casual contacts not close contacts.

So Pyke, McVeigh and Cox won't be coming to Melbourne. This is going to be a huge disadvantage. Will they be able to coach remotely? That's not the same as being at the ground. This is going to be a big test.

What does that have to do with anything

The 3 coaches have tested negative but are still doing the right thing and taking the precautions by isolating and not going to melbourne. It doesnt mean the circumstances of this game are fair !

Those who have lost loved ones, certainly. And also those whose livelihoods will be threatened if the NSW isn't able to contain this outbreak pretty quickly. Or mental well-being.

In the overall context of things, a disadvantage in a football match is a pretty small thing.

Just the way it goes. I’m sure Jarrad Crouch (Academy Coach) or Jeremy Laidler can step up and help on game day. Longmire will be fine.

I feel that the Cafe situation will spook the AFL and send all the players and teams into their bubbles like last year. These bubbles last year caused chaos for many families in the industry.
