It was knocked out in the tackle. Still Dawson was stiff. But McLean's arm hold was plain dumb.

If the umpires let us. Every time we get a run on, in steps the maggots with soft frees in front of Carlton's goal. De Konig's free....soft as. Even Horse brought up frees in front of goal at half time. When Horse brings it up, you know it's bad.

Cunningham has been very good - cleaned up a lot and defended well.

Heeney's last kick was terrible but he has played well.

In part because he is very good. I'm surprised they havent tagged him.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Every time we seem to look like we will get a decent break, we implode or the umps start pulling the marginal 50/50 calls out again. A couple of those calls against Dawson were very, very tough. McLean's was stupid, but the Carlton clown was doing exactly the same holding as well.

No it's the fake tough guy act and the way he drops the ball as soon as he is tackled which the umpires fall for.

Hewett so much better in the 3rd qtr. I have to bag him more often.

It's tough being an umpire. They have to conjure up a victory for Carlton no matter what. I'm backing them.

Great to see JPK free over the back. Really really hope we can go on with it

Nicely worked from end to end there for JPK's goal. Hope Buddy's alright.
