I didnt invent it TB, but i believe the idea behind it is to make sure the player actually makes it to game day. What you dont want is someone injuring themselves further on the training track to the point they cant contribute on game day, or worse, they dont end up playing at all!Comment

I too would like to see Heeney get more midfield time. I think having a suite of players that can go into the middle and make a difference whenever needed would be a great advantage. I think part of that would be to ensure each member of that suite of midfielders gets regular midfield time, and more particularly the bounce.
In recent season we've seen the bounce dominated by just 3 or 4 mids, which may have contributed to a certain predictability. Last year Parker, Kennedy, Florent and Rowbottom dominated - no-one else at 20% or higher. This year Florent's presence has been largely swapped for Mills overall, but both Florent (30%) and Warner (50%) have both featured heavily in particular games.
So if it's Heeney's turn this week - good.Comment

Unless there's a bollard in the way !The more i think about it the more thrilled i am that Joel Amartey is getting a game! I can't believe this will be just his second game in four years on the list! Time has really flown!! He must take this opportunity as it may be his last. Key position players do get the luxury of time but theres no guarantee he'll be given a contract!! Make this chance count Joel!! Go you good thing!!
Looking at the training gallery uploaded by the swans there were some interesting things :
-Rampe is always the happiest person on the track is he not??Comment

Long ago in my youthful days on here, some one wise told me to always re read my comments before posting...and then to delete them and start again.
Works most of the time. too.Comment
