Fox and Dawson are having howlers. Heeney playing behind every time and then goes back and plays in front and dropped 2 easy marks. Wicks has been very poor. I struggled to understand what he is out there for. They are running wide and we are ball watching. Papley to the middle.Comment

Been a real trend the last 3 weeks ... All against Melbourne teams ... Go figureComment

Playing like a young tired side up against an energetic, refreshed and desperate team.We are getting smashed at every aspect of the game. Our work rate is horrid. Hawthorn have loose men everywhere. We look like a rabble. It's hard to see how we can come back from this unless we have a complete change in mindset and effort.
I said many times that Amartey had a booming kick. That goal was a chip shot from outside 50.Comment

They are just running. We are not. The amount of easy possessions they've had is astounding. All about work rate, combined with some generosity from their extra players on the field.Fox and Dawson are having howlers. Heeney playing behind every time and then goes back and plays in front and dropped 2 easy marks. Wicks has been very poor. I struggled to understand what he is out there for. They are running wide and we are ball watching. Papley to the middle."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Appears O.Meara was reported for the hit on Hayward. Why no free kick?Comment

We look very tired and flat. Umps not helping. Two 6 day breaks versus refreshed team doesn't help.Comment

What frustrates me in these commentary scenarios is they love to pluck out stats at half time or whenever to make points about the thrust of a game and playing styles. Would you think a 4 - 14 free kick count and interpretations might have some effect and worth a mention?Comment

The umps are deplorable but not why we are in strife.
Hawthorn have positioned themselves and are constructive with the ball - we are all over the shop kicking it anywhere.
And in defence Hawthorn are much tighter than we are.
The most we can say is that we'll learn from it. I hope!He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
