I just bought my ticket. It seems like they are herding us all into a tight area behind the goal with the rest of the stands being "unavailable".Comment

You'd think that GCS and North would be the first to go. GCS has been a basket case since being established. Despite GWS not having as many season members/fans as the AFL may of hoped by now, you'd say they are a lot more established and respected than GCS.
Send Hawks to Tassie as well and then we're starting to get a national comp.Comment

I think the AFL have invested too much in the Suns for it to fail. Plus they want to grow the game and spread it to a bigger national audience. The Gold Coast has a substantial population that is a growth market for the AFL. If they can grow the market they get repaid in spades by the broadcast deals etc. That's why the Swans have been so great for the AFL - without our success their broadcast deals wouldn't be anywhere near as juicy. They are going to persevere. Any reductions in the number of clubs have to come from the Melbourne clubs I think, although it could be by moving them e.g. to Tasmania. All opinions are not equal. Good stuff! Stick with a winning formula; reward success. Hopefully those being made to wait are just going to get hungrier and better. All opinions are not equal. It has been like that for multiple away games this year (and then there have been heaps of empty seats in prime spaces). I wonder if they just reserve those places for home team members (which we can’t access) to give them the opportunity (with their default membership numbers) and then release them much later in the week. In other words, I wonder if you would get better seats on the day.Comment

i still remember sitting in the o'reilly stand at a derby 2 yrs ago and some orange flog piping up about how Swans are propped up by the AFL and we milk our South Melbourne history for Vic memberships
Imagine some #### from a club that's younger than my grandson who cant legally drink or drive yet talking about history !Comment

Just heard snippet on SEN that Norf, Essendon & Swans players/officials were at Rugby match in Melbourne last Tuesday night which is now a Tier 1 sight. Report was Swan who attended was an official. He must now quarantine for 14 days regardless. Any of his close contacts within the club will now be treated as Tier 2, meaning they'll need to isolate till they get negative test result. Apparently a big name player from the other clubs is Tier 1.
More details to come I imagine. This will no doubt impact our preparation for game tomorrow depending on test results. Fingers crossed as this has potential massive ramifications on a lot of fronts.Comment
