Papley kept us in it then Blakey really sparked us in the third. He looks fantastic as a half back. As I said way back, his height, run and left boot are suited to a role out of defence. What was also impressive was his pressure. He layed some really good tackles and showed good desperation.

JMac, Errol, George, JPK, Parker and McCartain had good games too.

      Fantastic

      What a win

Jmac is exceptional. Like Gulden , everything they do turns to gold. Blakey shuts me up again
Luke Parker the most underrated player in the competition , no Mills and he stands up even taller - i was talking on here yesterday about Skilton the great , this was the stuff he did

Shame on anyone who bagged Stephens and Rowbottom , gutsy effort from both to run out there after playing yesterday when neither shouldve been out there at all !

That was a BLOODS game , unlike those manufactured ##### we beat !

And I'm pretty sure that win means we'll be playing finals. Three wins and percentage in front of eighth.

How good was Dawson's leg lock on Tarranto?

Leon Cameron is the Forrest Gump of coaching.

LOL Jack Little would have loved it.

I am still stunned at our turnaround. Would have been easy too give up and coast in the 2nd half.

That was such a good win in the end. Huge relief. I was not a fun person to be around for the first quarter and a half.

I was hopeful at halftime, but didn't see that third quarter coming. Buddy really looked like he needed a rest for a week or two in the first half. He wasn't moving well and didn't seem to have much touch (particularly below his knees). Then he turned it on. Bloody awesome.

It is painful waiting until the end of the week to watch your team play, and when we failed to show up at the start I was predicting a horrible depressing week ahead. It's all roses now. Go Bloods!

Clearly rattled by the late changes at the start, though a great effort by Rowbottom and Stephens to back up after playing yesterday. After the dodgy opening the boys were all over them.
Tremendous ball movement left the Giants without answers, and with Franklin and Heeney standing up after halftime they were completely at sea.
Great games throughout from Parker and Kennedy; they really led the way.

Yep for sure and glad to be wrong.

Still don’t think it’s the way to go having all 3 in the middle going forward though. Much prefer Mills and Heeney in there. Can’t rely on the ruckman and best midfielder getting injured each week.

Well what a great last half.?We Brought the intensity. It was great. Heens to wing, McInerney to HB really helped. McInerney played HB, wing, switching. Bloody smart coaching. I can say to any poster saying Amartey was not good to watch his ruck work and the fact he was able to bring the ball to ground against Phil Davis, who has a great record on Buddy. This is one of the great fullbacks. The kid was good and he did everything asked of him. He brought the ball to ground, rucked recalled well and provided second & third efforts. So @@@@ you all the detractors. I thi k the coaches would be very pleased. Especially as he negated any influence Davis might have had.

Wonder how Sam Reid went in the scratch match yesterday?

Think we need another tall option forward, although dropping Bell for him won't be popular on here, its the most logical option.

11 wins always earns a finals berth
