I’m hoping to engage in some lockdown political discussion over the weekend. Anyone interested in debating lockdown/COVID politics, let’s fire it up in the open discussion thread.
I fear that discussion subject might test the friendship BS.

How do reckon we will play with no crowd?

I think some players need the crowd noise (positive or negative) to get them going. Buddy seems like the type who lifts or plays in response to the drama generated by the crowd.

Will tomorrow’s game have the intensity of a practice match or will the players be able to lift to the occasion (with top 4 up for grabs)?

[QUOTE=TheBloods;825636]Your right i am pleased that hes not in the team because its the best thing for HIM ! If someone is out of form and out of position then the best thing they can do is go back to the lower league and either learn their position better or find a new position . This is all i wanted for him from the start and maybe if it had happened sooner when i was calling for it to happen , then maybe he wouldnt be where he is now . Which is out of the team with a month til finals

A wrong word was capital in the whole post so I changed it a bit which would look the best …

I KNOW IT FOR A FACT
        I WILL NOT
        I AM PLEASED
        I WANTED FOR HIM
        I WAS CALLING

Never seen anyone as self absorbed.

Looks like we are playing at the MCG tomorrow - a good thing me thinks (hopes). We need more games at the in readiness for late September.????????????????

My nieces husband is medico for the Canberra Raiders, she was going to take the kids up there to Qld, she’s so glad she didn’t!!

No i will not. There are some ratbags among them and i wont sugarcoat that . Coaches dont even know the half of it but even if they did they wouldnt care as long as they perform their role and are part of the team and not doing anything criminal

Im not going to name them because what they are like as people matters stuff all as long as they can play . I dont have to like them but as BLOODS i love them

Have they finished their 14 day quarantine? I didn’t think they had reached that point.

                    I think today is day 9 - out of a mandatory 14 .....

If the Swans are going to remain in Melbourne (report on Swans site says they have ‘relocated’) I assume/hope families will come out of quarantine straight on to a flight to Melbourne.

Assuming the Vic Government allows .... but seems rational as the families have been in isolation for the period of this new S/E Qld outbreak.

Wouldnt have said it if it wasnt true ! Coaches arent on top of everything that happens with their players nor do they know what their players are really like away from the club

If i wanted to start trouble i would name them . not interested in throwing anyone under the bus , they are all bloods but just saying its silly to believe 40 out of 40 blokes are all gonna be stand up guys

I know its a minor thing in the whole scheme of the pandemic but we need to do the best we can.
On the swans app there is footage of the players at the airport. It looks like a full squad.

I was thinking the same thing. I think this will be our first game this year with no crowd.

Could you give us two examples of questionable behaviour without naming the player? I need to know at what level this behaviour is.

I saw a Swans player in the Paul Roos era dancing behind a DJ turntable, smoking a cigarette and downing shot glasses. It was a Sunday night during the season.

Away from the club? When they’re doing the cliff walk at Bondi to Bronte or having coffee to share their inner most thoughts or getting on the juice at the Coogee Bay with you? Sure.

Nothing wrong with a big night out

if the swans player was being an antagonistic and hateful @@@@@ as well then you would be closer to the mark

And just because we got rid of Grohan doesn't mean we got rid of Grohan behaviour , ill leave it at that

This would be happening at every club , we are lucky we are out of the way up here so they fly under the radar more !
