OK that's a significant change ... do the families travel with the entire squad to Tassie then? And will NSW let them back in if they lose?

I'm not 100% on those points but I wouldn't think families would be given any special allowances to travel with players but should know more tomorrow.

I think if Port or Brisbane lose their QFs they will get home SFs. So if we win and Port lose, I reckon we'll be heading to SA. Chances are at least one of Port or Brisbane will lose and at least one SF will be in Tassie. Part of the AFL's rapprochement with Tassie, who want their own team.

100% correct. Tas finals 2nd week will only be if Melbourne teams lose.

I like this set up, and staying down in Tassie for a week will be good. No covid down there.

Maybe the Bulldogs could be left in Tassie if they were to lose a SF there. Then after a mix-up with some maps at pre-season training
for 2022 the entire squad could go missing in the wilderness area in the Tasmanian south-west never to be seen or heard of again.
And then fifteen years from now a small colony of the long-lost descendents of Cannibal Pearce all wearing tattered Bulldogs training
gear would be discovered by a group of retired Swans players on a 20 year reunion hiking trip to the area.

aaaaaaand, Clarko just announces he won't be coaching anyone in 2022. That means every club thinking of getting a new coach for 2023 will have Clarko at the top of their wish list. The AFL will of course engineer Clarko to Gold Coast as that suits their agenda.

Maybe Teague survives after all? Very ugly and messy at Carlton regardless if he stays for his contracted 2022 season or gets sacked for Lyon.

Both Teague and stewy dew come out of contract at the end of 2021.
Carlton are so stupid, they will give Teague another year as a dead-man-walking coach. Thats sure to turn out badly!

Like he was always going to, mainly because he basically said so and after 17 years it made sense.

And yet, Carlton - being the trash, half-baked club that they are - have basically geared the last two weeks of publicly hanging out to dry a coach they may now be forced to keep, around the opposite scenario.

Long may their incompetence and amateurism continue.

Yeah the treatment of Teague has been terrible. What a horrible club Carlton is. I would be appalled if the Swans treated any coach or staff that way.

John Northey, Tom Hafey, Gary Buckenara, Rodney Eade. Not all of the coaching transitions in our glass house have been neat

Eade wore out his welcome and it was blessed relief when he left. Agree on Northey. Buckenara was on a hiding to nothing.

To be honest, I don't think teague has been treated that badly.
He is still contracted, and still getting paid. Keep doing your job.
No coach sacking is ever smooth.

There is that of course. So much and in fact all of the messiness is actually people in the media, former players, coaches, the
drovers dog feeling the need to chime in every five seconds. Their yabbering is the messiness. Everyone could just shut up
and let the coach and players do their thing. Anyway, not much chance of that I suppose.
