What you need to understand is that these young mids of ours are doing ok but are up against a bunch of mids that were top 5 picks in their draft! You can't expect our bunch of late first and second rounders to dominate each week. They are having a crack but are sadly outmatched at the moment!

Excuses , draft picks have nothing to do with it . We must be the only ones with mids who "arent ready" !
Stay calm. It's only four goals with a half to go.
Need a big start to the 2nd half. Could easily score quickly and heavily against the plastic thugs as we did earlier in the season, but need to get the game on our terms and control possession. Its something we've done so well this season, but been awful at it today.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
Parker has been playing a very strong captain's game. Hewett and Hickey have been good, as well. McCartin and Rampe good in defence. If we get more and better ball to Franklin, he could do plenty more damage. Gulden has produced moments of magic.
posters on this sight checked if they are swans supporters. Too many neg comments. look like the way we are playing should have picked reidy for hiss marking ability. We also have several players who are not up to it. eg Melican, too slow, COR to name a few.

Excuses? Juniors are picked high in the draft for a reason! It's usually because they are better and more talented than those picked after them. It doesn't always work out, but they've had a fair crack at it over the last few years to get enough right!
