4. Dawson (21.8) (3)

Is Rowbottom now spelled with a silent Florent at the start?TB, this is where you get yourself into trouble! We have been over this!! It is not the message but in the delivery!
I believe many would agree with you that Florent's ball use and decision making can be frustrating, and a major weakness of his that he needs to improve on.. but "garbage" and "dumb as rocks" are inflammatory and quite denigrating.. it is jarring to hear such terms on an online forum meant for discussing footy...
I believe you mean well but from now on.. for your sake more than anyone else's just to stop rubbing people the wrong way.. re-read your comments before you post, and think.. is there a more gentle way I can put this? I think we would all appreciate it and enjoy your contributions a lot more

I just can’t understand the apparent disproportionate vitriolic anger at someone finishing top 10 in a club B&F. Anger issues of Toby Greene proportionsComment

I think whether it's Rowbottom or Florent or anyone else, TheBloods doesn't have a lot of tolerance for the players he doesn't rate. But it's quite a strange approach to supporting a club.. being so frustrated by a player's perceived incompetence. It sounds like TB has been around long enough to know that in a list of 40 or so players, you will always have a handful who aren't up to scratch.. that is no secret.. but it seems exhaustive to use one's energy channeling frustration into those handful rather than enthusiasm for the rest..
I, too, thought Florent's inclusion was a head-scratcher.. but why bother lamenting him making the top 10 when there were so many other stories to be excited about? Yet another podium finish for Lloyd.. BUDDY back in the top 10.. Juzzy with his first top 10 finish.. HICKEY cementing his arrival with a top 10 finish... Dawson with a podium finish before he even reached 100 games! And... if Ollie can take this recognition and be encouraged by it as he goes into year #6 as a Swan.. then even better!!Comment

Neon, you have a flair for expressing so succinctly what a lot of us feel about TB’s comments.TB, this is where you get yourself into trouble! We have been over this!! It is not the message but in the delivery!

Thank you and hopefully he takes it on board! He is really not a bad bloke, I’m sure!Comment

Ashamed to be a swans supporter when I see some of the disrespect to players on here. It’s not like the Sydney/Sth Melb fans that I know personally, thankfully, but it’s starting the feel like some on here are not far removed from our generalised view of supporters from some Victorian teams who eat their own. If I didn’t find out important news on here I’d give it a miss.Comment

Don’t take it to heart Bay View- sure, some on here vent their feelings in a manner that leaves an awful lot to be desired, but we are all supporters of our great club and so you just have to call them out and tell them what you think.Ashamed to be a swans supporter when I see some of the disrespect to players on here. There is a lot to learn about our team on here and the banter is entertaining. I love the humour as well!
Stick with it, buddy.Comment

Thanks! It’s just hard coming to the realisation that we have dickhead supporters too ????Don’t take it to heart Bay View- sure, some on here vent their feelings in a manner that leaves an awful lot to be desired, but we are all supporters of our great club and so you just have to call them out and tell them what you think.

Hear hear - all the carry on of bagging Swans players and there was almost no acknowledgement on this forum of the extraordinary achievement of Tom Papley in making AA this year. Thus the internet I guess.Ashamed to be a swans supporter when I see some of the disrespect to players on here. Where exactly was the function last night? Was there some extraordinary CGI involved or did they find somewhere they could all be together?Comment
