They have Schacke (?spelling) doing a stopping/blocking type role on him....very effectively......but he's being illegally blocked a lot of the time. Got one blocking free but they're missing a few.

Port just haven't turned up, and Dogs expertly taking Aliir out of the contest defensively. Surely teams will be watching and learning a lot for next season about how to dull his effectiveness.

Think we can put away the free kick conspiracy theories for this one. Dogs winning by virtue of playing incredibly well, against opponents who have barely turned up.

Pretty shameful stuff from Port but they look like the "shock and awe" has done them in. Shades of last night's game.

May well be a competitive and exciting Grand Final I guess.

Brilliant coaching be Beveridge. Kick the ball low and hard and direct it to the flanks instead of straight down the centre, which keeps Aliir out of the game, seems to really upset Port's game plan.
