Finals Week 3. Once upon a time, I actually quite liked the Bulldogs.

There is a lot of dedicated blocking going on with Aliir. And boy, Ports mids are getting smashed.

They have Schacke (?spelling) doing a stopping/blocking type role on him....very effectively......but he's being illegally blocked a lot of the time. Got one blocking free but they're missing a few.

Huge choke by Port so far. Downhill skiers.

Port are struggling so much with the pressure coming from the Dogs that even when there is none they are jumping at shadows and turning it over.

Well, Port really have browned the bed.

Is there is any upside, one of Ports only decent players has been Ladhams …

I’m enjoying this. Dogs getting caned by umps for a change has sparked something deep within.

Only point of interest left in the contest is which of Luke Darcy or whoever it is on the sideline (is it old mate Nige?) explodes in orgasm first about the dogs

Port just haven't turned up, and Dogs expertly taking Aliir out of the contest defensively. Surely teams will be watching and learning a lot for next season about how to dull his effectiveness.

Unfortunately, the Poodles are just waaaaaaaay too good. If they play like this , and Melbourne play like they did last night, it will be a cracking Grand Final.

Please let it be the Demons that come out on top! Please!

                        And ideally by a point.

Think we can put away the free kick conspiracy theories for this one. Dogs winning by virtue of playing incredibly well, against opponents who have barely turned up.

Pretty shameful stuff from Port but they look like the "shock and awe" has done them in. Shades of last night's game.

May well be a competitive and exciting Grand Final I guess.

Yeah, I've been watching him too. That 16 & Ladhams for Dawson trade would be ok.

2 boring prelims. Can't believe how bad Port have been. Their backline doesn't know what to do. Another lost opportunity for Port.

Brilliant coaching be Beveridge. Kick the ball low and hard and direct it to the flanks instead of straight down the centre, which keeps Aliir out of the game, seems to really upset Port's game plan.
