Finals Week 3. Once upon a time, I actually quite liked the Bulldogs.

They don't need to call on 'em tonight, just too good against a terrible Port team so far.Think we can put away the free kick conspiracy theories for this one. Dogs winning by virtue of playing incredibly well, against opponents who have barely turned up.
Pretty shameful stuff from Port but they look like the "shock and awe" has done them in. Shades of last night's game.
May well be a competitive and exciting Grand Final I guess."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

I was thinking that....we've seen two scintillating performances last night and so far tonight which should make the GF pretty damn good....and if the Dees win, even better.Comment

As much as I hate the dogs, you can't not admire their ability to bulid a list with unbelievable depth. They've got stacks of talent in the list - arguably depth not even GWS at its peak hoarding points of talent reached, and have used so much of it this year. That side of their club has been run exceptionally well for a long while now - even if you do wonder how they can achieve such depth in numbers within the salary cap era, given their top few players are absolute top echelon players.
Still hate how they play the game and get an armchair ride so often along the way when it is needed, but their list management is right up there."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Yep, have to give credit to the fairypups- their pressure and accurate field kicking were terrific. Port hopeless tonight.
Hope the GF is a better game- cmon the Dees!Comment
