Gould looking fit. Ollie and RB posting significant improvements in the 2K time trial. Buddy, Hickey and Reid there already. A lot to get excited about!

Florent's looking all grown-up with his shorter haircut. (Wish he'd taken Rowbottom with him to the barber.)

A lot of the players have turned up before they are required too. Mills, Florent, Hayward, Buddy, Reid, Hickey; Parker and Heeney watching. Probably more too who aren't strictly due back for another week or two.

The grounds staff must have had a busy week. I walked past Lakeside Oval last Monday and it was in awful condition - huge tufts of weed grass growing everywhere.

I'm just hoping I can rely on them training there for a few Mondays. It's a long way for me to go to watch training, and pre season is really the only time. During season, they are nearly all closed.

Actually they did tell us in an email some time ago but I didn’t write it down and deleted the email. Possibly it was a members-only email but that’s still a lot of supporters.

Gould looks lean, Florent and Stephens look like units - can't believe how much Dyl had bulked up! Wonder if he will play a big role inside this year?

Wow, it's exciting to see how these guys look so fit, strong and mature. A very encouraging sign for the season ahead. Stephens and Gould are especially impressive in how they have re-shaped their bodies.

Yes, while individual photos can be deceptive, at the very least, it's a sign that they've taken their off-season training seriously.

I'm now curious what shape Taylor will come back in. Will he once again be Tubby Taylor, or will he look like he's keen to save his AFL career?
