I’ve been on the Scotches. I can declare that Buddy would be an outstanding half back flanker If he wanted to be.

He’s quick enough for the position and his tackling reading of the plays and elite field kicking would be feature.

I think not having two defenders jumping into you would be invigorating.

When you think of guys whom had played AFL past 35 such as Burgoin, Doull and Tuck they have played mostly at half back

And he's a terrific overhead mark, wonderfull kick for goal and can defy graity and turn water into wine. With or without Scotches you are such a notable fanboy BS, I'm glad you are still around - RWO needs all sorts.

News have done a piece on Heeney, see here
Apparently he broke his right hand in "a freak off-the ball incident last year" - snigger snigger snigger

It's crazy that Bell is still getting a game. He does some ok things but is just too poor a kick to be playing AFL. It's not like his kicking is going to start getting better with age either. With Ronke in the team as the small pressure forward, he isn't needed.

Sad to see JPK out but agree it's hard to see a place for him in the midfield and he certainly isn't a half back.

I'm expecting a big game from Heeney today.

This is quite a good story on Ronke.

Injuries overcome, wheels are back on the Ronke ride - Injuries overcome, wheels are back on the Ben Ronke ride

The stress fractures in his back would have been difficult to overcome.

On another matter, hope the weather tomorrow is as good as it has been the last couple of days here in Launceston. Stunning Autumn's day today, and just as nice yesterday. Fingers crossed its similar tomorrow as it should make conditions set for a great game of footy
Weather forecast for game time is mostly cloudy, 18°, light breeze and a low chance of showers. Seems perfect conditions for our skilful ball movement and outside pace, to run the Hawks ragged.

                Cheers mate.

I think Red and White are hoping for two outcomes today:

                1) A Swans Victory.

                2) TB to make a return.

Pretty overcast and cloudy, but no wind to speak of and doesn't feel like rain is on its way. Just on the way to the ground, via a stop for pie in the city on the way [emoji16]

I hope Buddy kicks a bag. I thought the large number of Hawthorn fans, booing Isaac Smith last week was pretty childish. So Buddy going well should really annoy the same idiots.
