He only had 5 possessions to half time but picked up a few in the third, 14 now.....but no, not his usual impact tonight (or last week).

Bell there....a prime example of why we question him. Should have buried that goal but folded under the slightest of pressure on his kick. Disappointing, although he has shown a few good signs tonight.....but still not enough.

We have been by far the better team tonight but Essendon have pretty much been witches hats for large parts of the game....and we are meandering along with a comfortable lead instead of chasing percentage and crushing them. Are we being made to look good....the next three weeks will tell...Carlton, Richmond and Melbourne.

Gulden is putting a couple of quiet weeks behind him. Cal Sinclair on ABC Radio, just called him the most skilful young player he's ever played with.

Yep, watch his hands and ability to change direction in a nanosecond. His decision making is first class. Has a great variety of kicks
he can pull off with ease. That long one up the wing to Papley in the first quarter was quite something. Most players wouldn't even
think of it. And he's a product of the Maroubra Saints junior footy club. Great to see.

We know I’m a massive fan, but he’s not been his usual high standard a bit for two or three weeks. Not sure it’s a niggle curbing his run, or just he’s down a little.

Yes, good that we had the game won at half time, not so good that it wasn't a big percentage booster. Still, season over for Essendon, so that's something.

Yep. We dominated but just didn't convert our opportunities, yet we still smashed them by 58. Much better than last week.
