Well they are wrong to do so.....as in this case, there was actually no free kick to give. It's incidental contact caused by two players with eyes on the ball, no free should be paid.

If we are going to judge all potential contact frees by the resultant level of hurt, the game is in big trouble.

What's more Caldwell had an obligation to turn his body because he was running with the flight and did not do so

Gotta say, I’d watched a bit of Ladhams at Port and thought he had some potential, but didn’t quite appreciate his skill and decision making around the ground in general play.

And don’t get me wrong, he’s still a ruckman. But he’s got quite good, quick hands in close and feeds it out to the right choice, and his kicking skills are pretty efficient. He largely plays to those limits too, and does it consistently under pressure.

You’d like him to develop his marking skills around the ground, but overall, he’s been a clear plus.
