Blakey, Heeney, Mills, Parker tick. Campbell did well when he came on and Ollie good second half.

We witnessed something special from Logan tonight and if he had time in the last few minutes he could have kicked five.

Our rucks stank. Nor Tom Mc’s best night.

The inability to stop there stoppage plan of a handball out the back drove me mad.

And yes, the umpiring sucked hard dogs balls
'Delicious' is a fun word to say

Astounding non call. But heeney had to hand off to bud 30 seconds earlier.

        - McDonald's best game
        - Campbell must play - made a great impact
        - Great second half by Heeney, but we need it all game every game
        - I'm not sure we can carry two rucks
        - Gulden and Florent were good
        - I understand the point of Bell, but I think we need a little more. Whether it's Ronke, Stephens or Clarke. Wicks was ok
        - We should have stuck with Kennedy as the 23rd player, but that might be academic now.

        Curnow is a beauty.

Good game though. We just were never going to outscore them in the second half like they got us in the first. Blues better team, but Swans should be pretty pleased with that return effort.

As for umpires, they can go @@@@ themselves right now, at the present moment!
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Bell not to be promoted again - Wicks on performance in seconds.

I'd rather see Clarke have a bloody go than Bell - at least he won't stop.

            Ronke for Wicks.
Pretty much agree with all this.

HTB is a disaster. Even at the Bombers game last week it felt like it took about 10 effective tackles for us to get one HTB. And then they paid in the back against us.

To be fair, it’s our fault we lost that by giving up so many goals in Q2. We dominated the second half.

Hopefully we’ll learn from it. So many of our players are in their estoy 20s.

Well, while I've now got another team to genuinely hate, I beg to differ.

The thing about Bell is, I'm not looking for a whipping boy but he has had a lot of chances.

The worst thing is he gets outmarked or beaten in one on one's so often.

Ruck pair was disappointing tonight - Hickey not near his best and Ladham really isn't offering much when he goes up forward either. Should really have monstered it more out of the centre then they did. We need patience with them as a pairing, but need more from them (especially Ladhams) around the ground. He didn't have a good night at all up forward - we didn't kick to much advantage, but he looks very easy to defend against too.

Missed the game due to other commitments, but it sounds like the umps interfered a bit too much. I thought they over officiated last week too. It ruined the game, the continuous stop start and strange unexplained calls make it impossible to watch.

As for tonight. Is anybody really surprised that Carlton won? I mean c'mon, it's Carlton, they are one of the 'big' Vic teams, the umpires, commentators and AFL officials are all likely to be fans.

Yes it is sickening to watch. They did it to us with the Bulldogs and they screwed us over again. Anyone that tells me the AFL is not a corrupt organisation can go and @@@@ THEMSELVES.

Very happy with that second half - yes last few minutes of the 4th we lost momentum when the life got sucked out of it with that goal - but we got in at half time and then come out and turned the game completely in the 3rd.

And yes - they can do that all the time the guys in green Danzar - we all feel that!

The kid needed a rest. But poor belly a bit out of depth. Wicks hardly sighted. J Mac has been disappointing of late after showing a lot of promise. Can forgive for a while given the age, but hoping he can find it again soon.

The only time the AFL is in a good place is when that scumbag club is at the bottom of the ladder. Swans fans should never forget what they tried to do to us in the darkest days of the club history. They were the parasite looking to to finish us off in our darkest days.

They can rot forever in hell.

Effort is never a probelm with him. He just isn't quite at AFL standard for mine - I want him to make it, he is by all reports a great bloke around the club and its a serious effort to get to where he has got to. But I just don't think he will be good enough, and certainly I'd prefer us to be playing someone like Stephens (or in tonight's case Campbell) over him (noting that would need some moving about elsewhere perhaps in terms of team balance) who have a much higher ceiling I suspect.

2 rucks is a must for me, neither one can run out a full game, Ladhams only looked bad when he is picking it up off the ground.

Id play Reid as a roaming fwd and spare defender before i play wicks and bell again.

                                Parker more time fwd

Paps, parker, heeney, will are enough smalls down there, no need to waste a spot on a pair that get carried week in week out
