Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

It was a low disposal game. Only 305 for us. That was a very good 12 disposal game by Ollie. Rampe and Lloyd were back in form. They have played better, but looked rock solid when it counted.

And welcome back Sam Reid. Who would have thought?

Amartey played a role; negate Lever, and he did it to perfection. A couple of big marks would have helped, but his job on Lever was superb.

We ran into one of the great individual efforts you’ll see from Gawn, and a side that threatened to strangle us in the third quarter, and we found a way through.

Some moments: Gulden’s goal was out of this world, Amartey’s play leading up to the Reid goal early, that T , McCartin play on Pickett at the end of the third quarter, JMac’s clearance late, Paps and Heeney stepping up late in front of goal when it matters.

And Logan McDonald just gets better and better and better. May the footy gods be kind to him.

Felt like the best of the old Swans (defensively we absorbed so much pressure and looked solid for the first time in ages) with the attacking flair of the new.

What a way to go into the bye!

So good to be a Swans supporter. Never out of the game. The future is bright.

That role used to be given to McLean. I think Amartey’s got a massive upside

Gawn was fantastic but we made him look more amazing by kicking far too often to the pack that he was at the centre of , did not make (common) sense at all.
Doesn’t matter , they made up for it at the next contest .

                      How good is this.

Sydney Swans on Twitter: "The coach embracing our match-winner.

You love it see it!!… "

Logan post-game interview. He speaks very well and is clearly invested.

                          SUPERRRR EFFORT !!!

All round team effort…. Just what we have been missing through the last few weeks.

                          Sam Reid up front
Mills and Ladhams in the middle. Must say Ladhams has been amazing and he has scrapped and actually done a great job.
Defence as a team - mids rolling back and super effort by McCartins, Lloyd, Rampe and especially Florent

Rowbottom in the second and third quarter was amazing. Good hustle and tackling by him when the game needed that.

I forgot. That Lloyd mark after the centre square break following the Gulden goal, and the Reid handball soon after.

Lord, this could go on and on

Sensational mark by Lloyd. Believed at that moment.

Our team are clearly not in the same class unfortunately.
Fortunately we were a class above in the end.
I don’t know why you lost hope so early in the game.
We are a team that finishes games as well as any other in the competition in my opinion and can never be counted out.
