The coaches took the foot off for the last three goals. Bench was Buddy, Parker, Mills and Papley.

Man, the negativity in here is a drag. This was a physical game and the guys brought the pressure again. Great for Logan to play himself into form. His celebration when he kicked the first, and the way the guys got around him, was the game's highlight for me.

Remember, Brisbane play Melbourne in the last game, so we should still finish second if we keep winning.

Also it's set up our biggest game of the regular season next week.

Maybe the coaches lacked ladder awareness? If the Lions thrash Carlton, which they're on their way to doing, we'll be back in fifth again!

I just want our team to be switched on for an entire game for a change. Sure we 'did enough'....but we should have smashed them....whether they were up for it or not. They're the bottom side!

I've been a bit of an Ollie critic at times, but I think he's finally found some rhythm down back and would be loathe to move him.

Certainly not one of our more dominant performances but the Roos were definitely up for it today.
Anyone who at the start of the season picked us to be fighting for a top two position at the end of the season well done everyone else enjoy the journey and keep the faith.
I didn’t watch the VFL game but don’t foresee any obvious changes for next weeks big game against the most loved team in the competition.
Gus was class , trust me

5 wins in a row, we're warming beautifully at the right time of the year. Next week will be a cracker with a real finals type atmosphere. Would love nothing more than to end the winning streak the Pies are on.

Every sentiment you have expressed above would relate so completely to your comments about James over the last couple of years.
Sorry mods if this isn’t acceptable but pandering to someone by agreeing that they don’t have to mention a player and can comment about every other player without sanction and for some reason removing the thread about a player who most of us rate very highly and then ignoring this obvious hypocrisy is not a good look.

Why do you have to go there , we are talking about Jmac . I am happy to debate with you . Explain this to me , everyone saw what Jmac can do , this yr and especially last . Ok hes out of form and he had injury . So what ! People talk like he has lost it completely and is no good . He deserves better than that after what he has shown surely . A bit of faith

Some players are amazing 360 degree players. So comfortable at moving backwards, forwards, sideways in circles.

Some players are amazing at facing backwards and bringing other players moving towards them into the game.

Some players are amazing at playing it forward. They tend to be in defence and just love setting up play ahead of themselves.

I think a fair few of our guys are finding their roles just nicely and or coaches are truly noticing where our boys have they competitive advantage and equally where the kinks in the chain fit best.

Florenr this season and the adjustments made to his role is a perfect example.

Can we please stop this? JMac is out of form- it happens to all players at some time. Question is, what to do- rest him against the Pies or keep him going?

Keep him going and back him in. No one is really banging down the door in the VFL. He’s a good player but people are right to point out his poor form for the short to medium term. People are also right to point out hypocrisy. Don’t criticise the effect, eliminate the cause.

So you don't believe you were being hypocritical with your 'don't hang the kid' comment? That's the only reason people are 'going there'.

Come on TB....a bit of common sense goes a long way.
