The F word was gold. What a wonderful player he was for us. A shame he couldn’t get as many games as he’d’ve liked at the Saints - but at least he’s got that medal!

Speaking of the F word… there must’ve been a few on RWO after that Lllloyd kick in.

A hard fought win. But we get the double chance and some days to regroup. A few players should really come under close scrutiny.

Clarke not up to it. McInerney butchered some many disposals. Wicks should be playing VFl

In the end, not much to complain about. Same opponent, regardless of being 2nd or 3rd, and we play them on the ground that suits our style against them. Whoda thought we’d be here after losing to the Suns!! Go Swans!
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

James Rowbottom has been fantastic over the last 4-6 weeks. Playing like an animal - hope he keeps it up and has a big finals series.

Great to secure third place on the one hand, but what a let down in the second half in terms of a positive way to enter the finals.

We will need to play much better than that vs Melbourne!

Agree with these three not being up to it. Since cutting his hair and getting COVID McInerney has been in our bottom 4 every week. Wicks just not good enough. Clarke poor last 2 games ... perhaps he gets a shot against Melbourne? But who would he line up against?

Also I'd like to echo that Hayward and Rowbottom have been huge the last few weeks. As have Heeney, Rampe and Franklin who have refound form. Stephens also looking decent now.

The McCartin brothers are very inconsistent so will be a watch this space come finals.

He’s looking stronger each week. It wasn’t that long ago that RB would take possession and soak up the tackle for a ball up. Lately he’s breaking out of tackles and moving it on. Watch those stats keep going up!

Equal or most possessions, contested, inside 50s, clearances, tackles. Gut work, on a day when we were otherwise down on that, mattered.

Also thought Stephens very good last quarter, and have given Wil a lot of love already.

It’s almost like some of us knew he’d lost his leg drive last year with his injury, and some other observers didn’t.

Gutsy win , we dont win without Chad . His run and skills are what get us going and his goal was fantastic . He is turning into a superstar of the game already

                      What is wrong with Jmac

Lloyd shocking , Mccartins no better . King is a handful . Danners is a champion of our club , fantastic to see Joey carrying him off

How good is Dylan , what did i tell you all !

Almost everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. Saved by an Almost. Words do matter.

It was a difficult game to watch sometimes with the anticipation of something going wrong. And how often something did actually go wrong! Not the least of which was Carlton blowing that lead to Collingwood and having 5th place hanging over us. I wonder how many RWOers had heart attacks this weekend. And no ambulances available. All taken up by Carlton fans. Bless their little infarcted myocardiums.

Too many poor games to mention. On the bright side: Who would have thought that James Rowbottom would end the Home and Away season as our best midfielder? Go figure. Someone was right to say that many of us would be in for a big surprise.

Yeh. Who would have expected a pick # 5 to have a decent game after 3 years in the AFL?

We weren’t at our best today, and the Saints showed a lot of heart. However I think that win also showed we’ve gained a bit of maturity. Playing a tough side, away, not our usual slick ball movement, but we still won. That’s an indication we’ve gone up a notch, as in the past it’s the kind of match we’d drop.
                              Great effort to finish third.
