Was Ticketek really that bad this time? Most people I know were in the queue for 20-30 mins and got some kind of seat and the
prices were quite reasonable. The SCG is not really big enough to have seats where you need binoculars to see what is going on
(unlike the MCG). I thought the whole process was fine. It's a big game, lots of people want to go, so you have to wait a bit.
First world problem and all that.

I must have been fortunate: got through at about 10.04am and bought my ticket without difficulty. Catching up a bus with the ACT-Swans supporters crew. Can't wait!

According to an ABC report, tickets for the two NRL semifinals and for country singer Luke Combs's upcoming tour went on sale at 10am this morning, at same time as both AFL prelim finals. No wonder Ticketek had queues and crashes!

I had to laugh Meg - not sure if it was the ABC article or one of the others (Maybe fox sports) that tried to suggest it was only Pies fans that had delays and troubles getting tickets....
