I was hoping the Dogs would lose. That they lost after being 41 points up and no doubt already planning for the next round of the finals was sweetness I didn't dare dream of. Even with a few minutes to go, Macrae blatantly threw one from a centre bounce contest. They're a shameless bunch of cheats who just don't get called on it. So thrilled they lost in heartbreaking circumstances. My opinion is objective truth in its purest formComment

Very impressive first week of finals! None better than our own win which was probably the most convincing.
Looking forward, Geelong-Melbourne will be a tough prelim, whereas I'm pretty optimistic we can beat Pies or Freo. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Love it!
Can't remember a better first week of finals and all results we wanted to see.
All four Melbourne teams beaten - just perfect, and two of the three whinyist coaches done for the year, only Chris Scott left standing.
This really has worked out perfectly for us, we've jumped to what looks like the weakest side of the draw. It's all on us now, rested and a home game.
I'm still on a high about the Dogs getting beaten in that manner, couldn't write that script!Comment
