Freo were the second best defensive side in the league during the H&A season, so clipped a lot of games. But they were only 12th in scoring and barely ahead of Adelaide and Bombers. You’ve got to find a way to score against teams with good defences in finals and they’ve struggled.

Last week they were up against one of the weakest defensive teams in the league, so a comeback then was more likely. Collingwood have a solid defence, so it was never going to happen again.

What has happened to the Dockers? When we played them 2 months ago they were going so well. They looked like they were going to maul us in the 1st quarter. Their defence was so solid, and in your face.

They looked flat in the 1st half last week and now this dismal performance. They looked totally devoid of energy.

I'm extremely worried about the Pies next week but I keep reminding myself that the Dockers were awful. The Pies were dominant for the whole game, yet only won by 20 pts in the end.

I'm more worried about our grand final opponent.

I'm so glad we won last week. Much better than the prospect of facing Brisbane, then Geelong.
